A land of fire and ice, and packed full of beauty... overlooking the calm bay and the glaciated mountain border, it's hard to imagine a more serene scene.

Consumed by thoughts today... what are we doing to this planet?? A whale, overshadowed by a buzzing cancer... sometimes it is completely blinding; the fact that we take FAR too much from everything/everyone around us.

That one time we got up before the sun...

Sitting in a grassy patch looking up to the sky and all the clouds rolling by... things we did so often as children but somehow get away from as we grow older. I've really started to dislike how almost all attention goes to the future and how the NOW gets so little... I'm trying to make a change for myself and to live more for the present. This picture is a testament to that... I sat in the passenger seat, heading back from a camping trip, and staring mindlessly at the road ahead. I happened to look out the passenger window just as a plane was flying over a field of hay (maybe not hay?)... anyway, I got my camera out and tried to take a picture as we cruised down the highway. No time to get a better angle, or to capture a more unique image. Just another brief fleeting moment of the present not thoroughly enjoyed because of a future destination.. my reminder to take time to stop and enjoy the world. .
The fact that this plane was spraying is another issue... but one at a time
Norway: I don't know if any words I have can accurately convey my love for, or the connection I feel to, this place... I can't wait to go back and give this place the time it deserves. ⛰🏻
Things are almost never as bad as they might initially seem... keep your head up, start walking, and enjoy the journey! .
A throwback to when Rachel and I hiked up the arch.

Along the road to one of my favorite places...
Waking up is sometimes hard, but those extra minutes of shut-eye can never really live up to what is waiting for you outside... Here's a view, atop a grassy knoll, of a loud morning sun last weekend.

An afternoon paddle... and... a word to the wise: sit in the back; paddling is hard and it makes it easier to take a break inconspicuously. Also, if you get caught then you can just use the excuse that you were taking photos.

Oh how I love you, Canada... Happy 150 years! Had to dig to find a shot in Canada... it's been WAY too long... but I'm sure glad I had a Samsung back on this glorious day, and that @rachellaurenelizabeth14 was there to capture it .
