This is my Grandma, she was born in Belfast. She immigrated to Canada in June 1970 with 4 young kids to protect her family. People were being shot and bombed daily by the IRA (one car bomb killing my grandpa's sister and her family because they were were misidentified) and I'm grateful to Canada for opening its doors, I may not have been here otherwise. A fundamental part of North America is immigration. Diversity is necessary and beautiful, it should be welcomed not shut out. #nobannowall#notmypresident
