RepostBy @naptural85: "Thanks for all the on my last post! Here's how I tied my head wrap!
ps. This is super simple, only LOOKS complicated. 🏾🏾
Step 1: Tie head wrap in the front.
Step 2: Tie extra fabric in a bow, making sure that the ends of the fabric point to the front NOT the back...
Step 3: Fluff out the bow, and that extra fabric in front however you like best!
TIP: This works best on STIFF cotton fabric, so look for fabric that is stiff, not flimsy or made of satin.

"Every day, I mean every single day I was talked about in school from 5th grade to graduation. Guys made fun of me for being flat chested. Girls talked about me cause my hair was "nappy" and "needed a perm" "I talked white" or I couldn't dress (I loved my vintage style tho). I played every sport but I was bullied. I lived in my own world, dressed how I wanted, and was closed in. I say all this because I do have a following and maybe there is a girl or guy out there that feels like they don't fit in, or they get talked about, and fought after school, or feel lonely or depressed. I want you to know that you are not crazy. You are the 1%. You're the one that might just make something of yourself if you just keep your head up and never give up. 10-20 years from now, you just might be the most good looking one, making more money than all your bullies, with more spirit and soul than they can dream of. Only hurt people hurt people. Just try to hang in there and focus on your dream.
I'm not the best at advice, and I am no where near "successful" as I dream, but I hope this helps someone. My life is completely different now.. Crazy how I was talked about for being natural and now I sell natural hair to celebrities, magazines, TV shows and women all over the world. And I'm still that flat chested natural that's closed in... So, Like I said, Hang in there. I wished I had someone tell me this growing up.
I live the entrepreneurs life and represent the meek, the hurt, and the ones who are trying. I, just like you, wanted to give up hundreds of times, at the thought of losing. Just don't give up on me. You've made it this far. Keep going. God has so much in store for you."

Taking Alexis's #Unbothered approach (mentally) to everything and every person who tells or makes me feel like I can't do something, doesn't believe I'm great, or try's to kill my vibe.....RepostBy @mccluretwins: "Ava attempts to scold Alexis but Alexis screams/laughs in her face...wouldn't it be great to respond that way as adults? #donttellmewhattodo#donttellmeicantbegreat#laugh

While cleaning up my NOTES on my phone I came across this note I created July 2015. It was a prayer I sent in to @joycemeyer prayer request line....#PrayerAnswered...wow @TheCurlSmiler (I kept my promise too about donating).
Proverbs 18:16. It's ok to work a job but I bet you wouldn't be so broke if you also used your gifts and talents and charged your worth. If people can spend $100 on McDonald's, bundles, and Jordan's they can afford your services. People pay for what they want.
