So many beautiful words + pics posted today in honor of my Dad on what would've been his 68th birthday So proud to repost them.. Couldn't have been more excited when I realized I had on his shirt from this pic today! From Boston's Canadian tour. When we ironically happen to be in Vancouver of all places tonight, having a slice of his favorite - key lime pie - and singing him happy bday to the stars above With a 3rd spoon for him tonight. Love you so much Dadamus Dadamus Dadamus Hashian. We all miss you very much!! Pcessamus XOXO
On this day, August 17th 1949 one of the most unique human beings to walk the planet was born - My Dad, Sib Hashian. He would have been 68 years old today, but God had other plans for him and could no longer keep him earth bound. My Dad was not only my Dad but he was a Son, a Husband, a Brother, an Uncle, and a Grandfather. He was a God fearing man, a charitable man with a heart of Gold, always on the search for knowledge and truth. A war veteran, a rockstar musician, a lover of Space and Sports. a competitor, and one of the funniest and wittiest guys around. More importantly he was a Friend - a best friend to me. He wasn't always the easiest man to get along with but that's only because he had such high expectations of people. He wanted back what he put into relationships, and I don't mean materialistically - i mean loyalty, honesty, and genuine consideration. He kept a small circle but managed to touch many. He accomplished things in life that most can only dream of. He instilled morals and values in me that I live by each and every single day. When people ask me who my hero is in life, it's an easy answer. It's my Dad. Not because it's the standard go to answer or the right thing to say, it's because it's the truth - I aim to live my life in his honor and will always do my best to carry on his memory. Words cannot express how proud of a daughter I am - although our time was cut short, I can say that I feel like the luckiest girl in the world for having "Sib" as my Dad. I love you so much Dad. I hope you are "partying" up in heaven and rockin with the angels, until we meet again......

@naztokio & I pulling one of those late nights in the studio!
Want to send a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone at @ballershbo and @brokemogul - This was the most touching tribute and so SO cool to hear Barry's "Dreams", Brad's voice and my Dad's drumming play over the end credits. The Goudreau's & Delp's are our fam and Barry and my father had been the greatest of friends and bandmates for decades. You couldn't have picked a better song by these amazing men for many reasons! We were all moved. Had to pull up the music video after, and I gotta say my Pops is looking pretty cool in it 🏽We love you & miss you Dad & Brad! Xo
SO so many identical outfits! Even more concerning than being dressed alike for the first 14 years of our life was that I looked like my first word was "RED-RUM" @aja_elan was always the cool kid coming up with full dance routines by age 4 & she loved our little brother but was always packing my suitcase to tell me the adoption agency was coming to pick me up every other weekend! WTH Aja ! I'm happy you started to love me after a while though! From trying to put me up for adoption to partners in crime! #SisterlyLove #MatchingHolidayOutfits#Redrum
It's not Christmas but it IS throw back Thursday!!! My mom insisted on dressing us alike all the time although we are 4 years apart....as you can imagine that became really uncool when I hit the teenage years. Ha! Look at those baby fat cheeks and blue eyes on "Princessamus" aka "Baby Lauren" so adorable!!
Thoughts are with Manchester as everyone mourns and heals. I've seen both @arianagrande & @victoriamonet shows and was surrounded by the happiest, sweetest souls singing along, so many of them just young kids. Ladies you bring so much light and love to their hearts through your voices and music. Never stop. Some souls are so lost and sick. Most of us will never understand. This brought back memories of the Boston Marathon bombing in my dear city, and no one should ever have to suffer a tragedy like these. Especially in a time of celebration in a place you are meant to be free & safe. All our hearts, support and love are with the kids and families affected by the unthinkable. So much love, strength & support #Manchester

@skipner this family portrait is so damn cool, we absolutely love it! Love being introduced to your work, your unique artistry & technique, and seeing familiar faces sketched and painted into these awesome figures. Now we all look abstract like sweet Hobbsy naturally does it's wildly perfect and your style is special. Check out how she doesn't even look at the canvas when she's sketching each person out. Just so impressed and @andrearemanda thank you for delivering such a great surprise! #MuchAppreciation#InnovativeArtists#AbstractArt#ContemporaryArt

Really was awesome to take some quiet moments on the farm for some family time. When I was a kid, it was Cape Cod for our family trips together, and we have the best childhood memories. Mini golf & the ice cream truck! Jazzy will hopefully get to make many family trip memories with the horsies on the farm now. Hobbs really seems to love it there too Goodbye for now farm @therock
It's been a tough week saying goodbye to my father. Especially leaving Boston and then coming back home to LA to work and live in this "new" normal. I wish Jazzy got more time with her Bop.. I'll always treasure the many pictures and videos I do have of them together. And to get the chance to have made him a grandpa again and watch him play that role with abundant love, fun, and pride has been one of the greatest things to happen in my life and his. He LOVED his grandchildren.
The one thing that really affected me at home was how all of my mothers friends communicated and banded together to make sure she had food coming to the house every day for weeks. And SO many other things. My fathers friends brought tshirts, pictures, videos, stories. My brother rose to the occasion and wrote & read the most incredible 15 minute eulogy I've ever heard. We never wanted it to end it was so amazing. The line at his wake was 3 hours long, and lasting practically all day. And I knew almost every single face. We have a very large, very beautiful chosen family. Not many kids are so close to all of their parents friends that they feel like family, but we are. And I thank every single one of you for everything you've done these last few weeks, and for always being so good to us
I am so lucky to be surrounded by some of the most loving friends anyone could have. These amazing faces insisted on having a dinner in support of the past week, and each of them had their own special relationship and memories of my father. This lifted my heart and made it feel full tonight. I love you guys
The best Dad in the world. Upon opening his briefcase, found a roll of pictures saved from every year we went to Salisbury beach together when we were kids. He and my mother have been married for 36 years. I am grateful for every day of my 32 years I got with him. I love you Dad.. and thank you for being the best father in the world. #SibHashian#DadamusHashian
