A huge THANK YOU to everyone that voted for me in the @beneful Paw Minister competition on Facebook! Whilst I didn't make it through to the finals, I was still lucky enough to receive lots of yummy food from @purinanewzealand! I promise not to eat it all at once

Starting the day the same way I start most days. Pre-breakfast of coffee and chocolate, sipping in the quiet. I am basically a hobbit...I need a first and second breakfast. (Which is perfect because I currently live in New Zealand, land of hobbits. ) In all honesty though, this little ritual of sipping coffee and savouring some dark chocolate in the AM is so grounding and calming. I swear it's like a mini-meditation and I really miss that pocket of peace and pleasure if I don't get it. What's your morning ritual? xo

Model or "real" woman? Sorry no, my job does NOT define me, you bully.
Just had to share this post from @amalielee , it really hits home for me. I've been through hell and high water to get where and am today and just because you don't have my body, face or job that doesn't make me less authentic or less "real" as woman--it just means you're not me, you're your own sort of authentic.
Thanks for putting the following so well @amalielee . •
...Let women exist in their own bodies. ....Another "real woman" pet peev is when *insert company name* proclaims that they are using REAL WOMAN in their campaign. Because thin models aren't real woman.
No those 6 feet thin girls walking the catwalk or fitness ladies on the magazine cover must be aliens. All women are real. Also the women you don't like. Also the women who make you uncomfortable. Also the women who do things you disagree with either that be using tons of makeup, engaging in sex work, dressing a certain way, photoshopping themselves or getting plastic surgery. Claiming that engaging in a certain behavior makes a woman "less real" is hugely sexist. The only thing that disqualifies you from being a real woman is if you don't identify as a woman. End of story. 🏽
