‘Healing out loud’ is how @francis.arevalo describes the process of writing his music. After being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, music became a way for Francis to rebuild purpose and meaning—with himself and the people around him. “In my lowest points, I couldn’t see 10 minutes into my future. When I put the pen to the page now, it doesn’t feel like it’s some artifice. Everything that I write is honest, probably the same stuff I would write in a journal—and there’s something to be said for putting in the work every day and trusting that it’ll work out.” This, is the practice of trust. #thisisyoga
