@joyzwang On Both sides and everyone grows from it all. I hit send by mistake sorry
@joyzwang I understand completely. Rather it was a joke or harmless fun that was taken out of context everyone should be mindful of what they do and say. My heart breaks for anyone offended by her actions but it also breaks for her. I hope lessons are learned on both sidwe
@teresavandergraff I'm sorry I don't know anything about you so I shouldnt have said that.. and a lot of us do understand how stupid it is to attack gigi -- there has been a lot of arguments in China and people said things exactly like what you said ... like they want to know how to actually make others realize that they are not so different..
@joyzwang sorry about that. I would do it for anyone where I think something is taken out of context and they are being attacked. She said she was sorry. There is nothing wrong with anyone defending themselves and I never said Asians weren't kind and polite, again you know nothing about my nationality. But death threats and nasty name calling is not kind and polite.
@joyzwang you don't even know what color my skin is or anything about me. How I live what goes on. I spoke out against the name calling and death threats and I would do it for anyone where I think somr
@teresavandergraff do you know that most people here are actually not that angry and overexcited about the Gigi-rasict video thing, most of us asians are just trying to use Gigi to prove that we can stand out for ourselves, that we can speak out against racism, and that we are not so easily bullied around. our humbleness and our politeness should not be mistaken as weakness. maybe you can't ever understand how it feels like to be judged by the color of your skin, but people can do anything if they are infuriated.
