Inspired by the bravery of the citizens of Manchester . Proud of @arianagrande . Evil will not rule the day.
The last 48 hours have been beyond devastating. As a father I cannot express my sorrow and my rage at this cowardice act. These were children. They were attacked because of our way of life. Our love of freedom and each other. There are no words that will comfort. There is nothing that can be said to make 22 return to their families today. I am so so sorry for their loss. I am so sorry to all those affected. Thank you to people of Manchester who have come together to help save lives and give shelter. Your courage and bravery is our hope. As I stated last night let's please all hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in our hearts and prayers. From myself and my friend @arianagrande ...We are with you Manchester. We will not let evil win! Never!
10 years ago I was sitting in my underwear on my couch with a big dream of building a company. I had no family contacts, no resources....just a really big dream and a laptop. I went after it and I had the honor of having a few people take a chance on me. What started with 2 unknowns @asherroth and @justinbieber has grown to a company that others now in @billboard compare to major companies like Live Nation with my great friend @michaelrapino, and Red Light with the legendary Coran Capshaw who I once studied. So thanks to Daniel Miller for showing love even indirectly. I'm proud of what we have built at @sb_projects and grateful to Asher, Steve, Pattie, Justin, and all the other amazing people and artists for taking a chance on that kid in Atlanta with a big dream. And if you're reading this... YOU could be next. Dream BIG! Thanks.
@justinbieber !! Bieber's historic back-to-back No. 1s: Bieber becomes the first artist ever to tally new No. 1s on the Hot 100 in back-to-back weeks: "I'm the One" debuted at No. 1 on the May 20-dated chart (a week ago) and now "Despacito" dethrones it on the May 27 survey. The previous fastest accumulation of new No. 1s? Oh, only by The Beatles: On March 21, 1964, amid the frenzy of early Beatlemania, "She Loves You" hit No. 1; two weeks later, on the April 4-dated chart, "Can't Buy Me Love" supplanted it. So, by adding new No. 1s in back-to-back weeks, Bieber bests the Beatles by a week for the quickest collection of new Hot 100 leaders. cc @poobear@joshgudwin@sb_projects@defjamrecords . Congrats @justinbieber#history
2 weeks before I met my best friend I told my Dad I would never find her. I told him I guess I would have to settle with being "the uncle." Then in one moment everything changed. I met the love of my life and nothing was ever the same. Now she is my hero. She has brought us 2 amazing boys and I hope someday I give her that little girl. @yael happy Mother's Day. Watching you in action only makes my love grow stronger. You are everything and more our kids could ask for in a mother and today we celebrate you but everyday I'm in awe. Being a Mom is the hardest job I have ever witnessed and to you and all the Mom's out there Bravo. But no offense to them...your my #1 pick :) I love you and happy Mother's Day. Here is to many more memories with our little ones! I love you. #bestmominthegame#myperson#mylove#hotmom#reallyhotmom#shehadababy5monthsago#seriously#sheissmokinhot#sheissuchaboss#howdidipullthisoff#donttellher#happymothersday

They say "we love you nana!" :)
Such an incredible week. Although passions run high in this region I walked away knowing that Israel is a beautiful and open society. Great food, great music, great innovation, and great people. As the grandson of Holocaust survivors, I know the importance of a state where the Jewish people can forever be safe. I met Prime Minister Netanyahu because as I have stated before I believe it's important to listen to All sides in this complex region. Israel isn't a perfect country-- no country is-- but it is an inspiring place which has contributed so much to the world. Thank you Mr Prime Minister for making the time and for sharing your love for this land and all it's people. I appreciated your honesty and your willingness to debate and share. Thank you to the people of Israel...such an amazing place. The Holy land! Can't wait to return.
Acknowledge each other
On one of my last days in Israel I asked many to introduce me to someone who had dealings with the Palestinian situation in the West Bank. I think in any conflict it is important to hear All voices. I was introduced to Haala, a Palestinian Israeli woman who lived in Jaffa. She spoke to me about the issues and her hope for all to live together in peace. I met my buddy George as he served us amazing Arabic coffee and he told me he lived near by and had many friends both Israeli Jewish and Israeli Arab. He said it was like "Europe." But I pushed for more. I told Haala how I wished to see the West Bank and she said " you want me to take you right now?" It was pick the beautiful beaches of Tel Aviv or drive off into the unknown...off we went. On arrival I was introduced to Firas Shomaly, revolutionary council of the PLO, and his family. They showed me around and then we ate at the Banksy Hotel in Bethlehem. I learned a tremendous amount and I was incredibly grateful. Most importantly I left a tag on the wall... acknowledge eachother. Both sides are so passionate but what I learned from my new friends @psymirelic and @angie.handal is that they are tired of it all. I heard the same thing from Israelis. I don't have the answers in this conflict as so many don't want to put their children at risk to solve it but what I saw on both sides of that wall was people who loved their families and were good to me as a stranger. Thank you to @ronzuckerman and to Haala for driving me to have such an experience and to Firas and his family for taking the time. And thank you to the people of Palestine and Israel for being so open and honest with me. "For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
