Thanks to Nicolas Hojac last Wednesday. I came from Brüssel in the morning after a slideshow. Climbing the Eiger Northface in the afternoon was just great. Its allways a pleasure to climb this face over and over again. For me the idea was new to think about to climb Eiger in the afternoon. I think its important to stay open in your mind. It was incredible to be up there during the sunset. Great scenery!

Another great shoot from the Red Piller Brouillard on Montblanc.
Just had another great lap on the Monblanc. This time i was climbing the Red Piller Bonatti direct Route valley to valley. I like this combination of mountainrunning with some serious climbing. I left 3:05 am in Val Veny and reached Mont Blanc at 11:15.A complete mountain experience. Thanks to Jonathan Griffith to take this great pictures with he's Drone. We both had a fun day out!
During my valley to valley ascent of Eiger Mönch and Jungfrau. It was pretty high on my ticklist since a while to climb the skylineridge from this tree mountains. If you are courius you will allways find a chalenge in your own garden. You just need to be willing to play! Thanks to Robert Bösch for the great pictures and the motivation during the day. Robert is over 60 years old and we worked so many times together but he has still this fire in he's eyes when we start together early in the morning on a project. He wants to get the best pictures and i wan t to push myself and figure out what is possible! Usaly it works out for both of us!
Last Week taking off on Jungfrau. Tenji Sherpa with Happy as pilot are allready in the air and waiting for me! After we had a great flight back to Interlaken.
Yesterday i run and climbed my favorite "Homerun" from Grindelwald via the Nollen Route to the Mönch. I just love this kind of training. Its about 3330 Vertical Meters and 18 km distance. This picture is from 2013 when i did the same together with Jonathan Griffith. Yesterday i had defenetly better conditions and i taked a bit more the 4 h to get to the Top of Monch. Great day in the Mountains and still enough time to go Rockclimbing in the afternoon. I still call the Berner Oberland Paradise!
Being back Home feels great. After two month travelling i looking foreward to play in my backyard.
Without one full day of good weather we still climbed a lot. @david_goettler I climbed the Girona Route up to 7800 meters followed by the British Route to 7600m. Both in a single push up and down. It was interesting to see what it takes to climb in bad conditions on such a huge face. Until now I always climbed single pushes on 8000 meter Peaks, and in ideal conditions and weather. This time we were forced to climb in difficult conditions. Both times we went as far as we could in terms of taking risk and staying safe. Unfortunately we did not have a whole day of good weather the entire trip, instead we had daily strong winds or precip. Not ideal for climbing 8000 peaks. In one way, you always like to reach the summit, but on the other hand we climbed a lot and we are coming back with a huge amount of experience! Thanks to David for such a great trip. It feels great to know we pushed ourselves and at least tried to climb! If I look back on the last two months, we simply had a great time. Climbing Island Peak from Chukhung, running the 3 Passes in a day, and finally doing laps on a 8000 meter Peak! I look forward to the next trip with David. We definitely reached our goal this trip: come back stronger!
David a i had a good tryp on Shishapangma Southface in snowy conditions. For sure the conditions are quit hard, but climbing in bad conditions makes you stronger! Thanks to David, i just like to climb light and fast. Now we are defenetly well acclimatised and we hoping for a good weatherwindow to climb again!
We just spend a night up at 6900m. Its still very cold. But it is still early season. David a me are super motivated. The conditions are great, we just need now a little bit passion to wait for warmer weather. We are ready to climb!
A little walk up from Basecamp to 6000m. Winds are still too strong to go high. We just keep going to keep fit and staying used to the altitude. Thanks @danpatitucci for the photo.
We are finally starting trekking to basecamp.
Finally we see for the first time Shisha Pangma. We will climb on the other side.
Now I feel like I'm back to the place I love so much, just being in the mountains! Super happy to start walking tomorow towards basecamp with @david_goettler@janinepatitucci and @danpatitucci
