//Mt. Baldy Summit//*
Amazing solo hike today to Mt. Baldy. 🏼 This is exactly what I needed. Haven't done a long hike for awhile and wasn't sure if I was gunna make it to the summit. Honestly I haven't been hiking as much as I was last year and was feeling a little ashamed about my speed. I wanted to do a solo hike so I wouldn't feel pressured by anyone to move at a faster pace.
This was the best thing I could've done for myself. It gave me a lot of time to reflect and think about what's important. I came to the conclusion that I need to stop comparing myself with other hikers. I know I have a tendency to do that at times. Last year I completed the 6 packs of peaks challenge, the 52 week hike challenge and successfully summited Mount Whitney twice.
With that being said, I need to remind myself of who I am and what I am capable of accomplishing when I put my mind to it. My goal is to refocus my energy on my self and my own goals and work on not comparing myself to anyone but the person I was yesterday.
