When you have 1 baby who is going through a sleep regression, plus 2 others who get up so early...this is seriously the only thing that can get me off of the couch. Energy is phenomenal and the fact that it is health for me yeah, healthy energy and balancing hormones, sugar and lipid levels. #dontsufferinsilence#contactme#plexusforlife
Time to get real Mental Illness Awareness
A cause so close to my heart
1 in 5 people experience mental illness in any year.
It Is 2017 and I still feel far too many people live in silence due to stigma.
Awareness is the key. We need to do more, more to get the awareness out and more to support and help the people that suffer from this illness.
A dream • A wish• A goal
For everyone to know that there is always someone out there willing to listen and there to help. It ain't weak to speak. "I pledge to always have an open door, non judgemental ears to listen and a loving heart to love, empathise and support. " 'I am here, I hear you and I am with you'- Citrine Healing and Guidance

This is a shout out to @mumhub The three incredibly brave young women Your generosity, inspiration, organisation and mission to help other mums who are suffering from mental health conditions (often alone and in silence) is absolutely heart warming. You girls rock! I love that you have found the right help to manage your own mental health and now you are finding the strength to reach out to others. To say that you ladies are inspirational is an understatement.
6 years ago my first son was born with a heart deformity and passed away at 5 weeks old after a huge battle in ICU. Since that heart wrenching moment life has definitely been an uphill battle. We definitely have to ride the waves as Renee said. We may be ok one day then not ok the next.
I have had two beautiful children since but pregnancy and motherhood certainly have had their own compounding struggles. I've suffered from prenatal depression, post natal depression and post traumatic stress disorder after being in a car accident at 37 weeks pregnant with my second son that resulted in a forced delivery due to my stomach being crushed into the glove box of the car. Traumatic? Definitely! Especially after my ordeal the first time round.
But as mothers we soldier on... we have to... we have a small baby to provide for... we have no other option.. and we often put the needs of others first while we suffer in silence and feel like we cannot ask for help for the fear of feeling inadequate as a mother.
If the trauma of birth is not enough we then need to deal with hormones, sleep deprivation, breastfeeding problems or the guilt of not being able the breastfeed and in my case both children had undiagnosed tongue ties! Isolation, body image issues and lack of family support. It is no wonder that so many mothers suffer from PND! The pain is real!
Sometimes something as simple as going out for a coffee and cake with another mum and having a good vent can make the world of difference. (Something that I never really got the opportunity to do as much as I liked or needed )
So Thankyou beautiful ladies for all you do for mummas. Combating PND one cafe at a time.
