People ask me a lot - "how to do you sell effectively and with soul?" ...
This is how I usually begin my response. This is really where it all starts:
"You want to have more success selling whatever you want to sell? Throw out the generic sales script, let go of the agenda and really listen to, hear and see the person (where they are) you're talking to and respond in a way that adds value and makes sense to them. People want to feel heard and significant. That's how you create a connection that builds the foundation for a relationship, professional or not. Be open to the opportunities."
