I am so hungry and didn't stop to eat earlier with all the craziness of the house so when I got home I went a little crazyyyyy
Egg + egg white over avocado with turmeric and green goddess sauce on a brown rice cake cooked in coconut oil!
Day 8 of our challenge! I showed 2 sets instead of one because I wanted you to see the real life work out with 2 kids running around you and who are BOTH NOT having it this morning. They were both in such a good mood all day yesterday, slept great last night and it's like they are making up for lost time today ALREADY!
Either way, day 8 is in the books and I'm happy I got it in. Now I'm ready for these 2! #reallife#toddlermom#toddlerworkout#loveyourmess
It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. You will need to make the healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your body to its max. There will be temptation. But I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's worth it. -
Today I spotted this rare animal!!! No tongue sticking out, no mirror selfie and the only muscle flexed is a smile! Catch it while you can, who knows the next time a picture of this rare beast will be taken!
You will never be successful until you Turn your pain into greatness. Until you allow your pain to push you from where you are to push you where you need to be. Stop running from your pain and embrace your pain. Your pain is going to be part of your prize, a part of your product. I challenge you to push yourself #dedication#pushthrough#brave#findyourreason#greatness#embraceit@tyrone1111
New blog post up on #PFX! Recovering from trauma 3 Steps to take back your Health; All of us will experience trauma that interrupts our lifestyle. Recovering from trauma is possible, and we have three steps to make it happen.
Step 1: Acceptance.
This is the hardest part of this journey.
Accepting what has happened is the most pivotal action you can take. Without accepting the loss, you’re most likely going to be stuck in a loop in a personal hell. You can only move forward.
Step 2: Find Your Purpose Again.
Ok, so you’ve come to terms with your loss…mostly. Now what? Finding your “why,” your reason to get back into a healthy lifestyle can be a huge struggle. Most of us already have busy lives and can make the cliché excuses regarding time and resources.
Step 3: Love Yourself.
Loving yourself involves everything we’ve talked about so far, and so much more. Long story short, be gentle on yourself. Our bodies are not out to get us! Like Keith Norris says, “our bodies are a temple for our soul,” and temples are there to guard and honor the light held within. #loveyourself#support#findyourtribe#love#motivation#keepgoing#exercise#nutrition#rest#relax#inspiration#findyourreason#yourvibrantpaleolife#paleolifestyle#vibrantPFX17#PFX17
I had some things hit REALLY close to home this week, and I wanted to share with you all on why we need to decide on what we THINK is hard VS. what is ACTUALLY hard.
Backstory: When I first started my journey to a healthier life, it had a lot to do with my grandparents' health. At least that's what forced me to see that I had a problem. They battled with type II diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and congestive heart failure to name a few. If I was to continue gaining weight and living this extremely unhealthy life, I could and probably would become diabetic and have more issues than I cared to have down the road.
Getting up every day to work out is hard. Eating healthy is hard. But do you know what is even harder? Those medical bills that will pile up from years of not taking care of your body.
I started my journey to just be healthier for me, but now it is to ensure my son knows what healthy habits are. If you're ready to make those changes - let's chat.
I'm so happy we prepped this yesterday because today was SERIOUSLY one of those daysssssssss
So easy to make in advance and so nice to have in the fridge!
Turkey meatballs and smashed chickpea salad with lemon and green olives 🏼
I am not one of those people who was pushed to lose weight for medical reasons. And I won't make up a story just to be more in line with the status quo on these weightloss transformation pages etc.
While there are many people that develop and suffer from chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension and heart disease because of obesity, I want you to know that there are also many others, like myself, who have perfect health but was just 100% fed up and dissatified with their physical appearance. Damn, I was tired wearing spanx under everything!!! But, but, but....Michelle...that sounds so shallow! Oh....so to just want to look better, feel better, fit into an airplane seat without misery, lead a life of activity, run around after your kids without passing out in a dead faint, wear a swimsuit without a big tshirt, finally buy and wear that amazing pair of skinny jeans and so much more incredible benefits - if THAT makes me shallow, then I guess I just ain as deep as I thought I was.. End of the day, it doesn't matter your reasons when the results are KEY! Do it for your health, do it for your vanity, do it for your QUALITY OF LIFE!!! Just go do it.
