Sunday Reflection: DAMN I love my body Seriously though, it's pretty darn amazing. The conditions/transformations I have brought my body through in this past year alone is something I am so proud of. And somewhere along the physical changes I found all the mental goodness. I've learned to love myself, trust myself, and to be kind and embrace myself.
No longer am I afraid to be my best self, no longer am I afraid to go heavy and go hard- in the gym and in the kitchen Are these transformations easy? Definitely not. It takes a lot of work, dedication, and discipline. But if it's not worth fighting for is it even really worth it? My physical and mental health are 100% worth it. Yours should be too! I'm not saying bulk up or cut down, I'm not even saying to hit the gym up everyday. I'm saying find what works, find what makes you happy, what gives you purpose, fulfillment, and peace. Yesterday was busy!! But I hit the gym, worked back and biceps and did a little stairmaster, yoga in the evening. Headed down to the in-laws to do fair day today! First time in a long time I dolled myself up! See you all tomorrow
