FURIOUS SEVEN [ 2015 ], directed by James Wan.
What do you get, when you take one bad-ass action movie star, such as Jason Statham, and make him a villain in a successful action-thriller series about speed? You get one of the best rides of the year! Statham is no stranger to action behind the wheel ("Transporter" trilogy, "Death race"), so he fits right in. "Fast & Furious 7" almost fell apart after a tragic passing of main lead Paul Walker in the middle of the film production. After taking some time off and doing some rethinking, movie makers decided to keep Paul's character alive no matter what. And so it continues with filming, having Pual's brother replacing him (with some CGI help). When I finally got to see this long-awaited film, I didn't notice the replacement, and that made me believe, Paul is still alive, even if it's just on screen. Aside from Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Dwayne Johnson, reprising their roles from the previous film, we also get introduced to Kurt Russell (a veteran of action genre), as well as Tony Jaa (Muay Thai martial arts master), Ronda Rousey (female MMA champion), and a cameo of long-forgotten Lucas Black (from "F&F 3"). Breath-taking action sequences in this movie are as good as always, if not better. The soundtrack was incredible. Many modern music hits were used. The final song was used for a very sad, and at the same time, happy ending scene, which was written in Walker's memory. This film is definitely one of the best in the series. And don't get me started on the money this film has made. I absolutely loved this movie and give it a well-deserved 9/10. #fast#and#furious7#fandf7#paulwalker#vindiesel#dwaynejohnson#jasonstatham#kurtrussell#tonyjaa#rondarousey#lucasblack#michellerodriguez#moviereview#filmreview
With #fateofthefurious coming out soon, it seems appropriate to review the most recent movie in the series. This was the first fast and furious movie that I ever saw, and it was so good that now I have seen them all. The story is about the fast and furious squad trying to catch Brian Shaw. (Jason Statham) They are also trying to get a piece of computer software known as the God's Eye. It can hack into any camera on the planet and see everything. This movie is exactly what you think it would be. A movie with cool cars and explosions, but everything doesn't seem like it could happen in real life. If you are able to turn your brain off and enjoy a movie, then I recommend watching Furious 7. I hope you liked my review and I'm sorry if you didn't. #furious7#paulwalker
