l #SkincareReviewFriday !!
This weeks product is a clay mask like no other! It's the Elizavecca Milk Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask, and it's so much fun to use!
I paint the mask on, avoiding the eye area and making sure to put on a thick coat, as that ensures the mask will really bubble up. For those of you that haven't seen this mask, the carbonic acid in the mixture causes the product on your skin to bubble up into a foam and lift all the gunk from your pores. When it does foam, your face will more than double in size! It's always so fascinating how much this mask expands! You have to work very quickly with this mask because as soon as it's exposed to air it starts to foam! Be warned though, this mask gets really ticklish as it's expanding, it takes all you can not to scratch your face! After 20, or so minutes (or however long it takes for the bubbles to dissolve) I wash it off in the shower. This mask takes longer than others to get off because the product is so thick, so keep that in mind when using.
It always leaves my face super clean and hydrated, would definitely recommend.
I've had so much support with this journey and I'm forever grateful but I've also had some negative feedback...."why are you doing this? Why are you taking the easy route? Why can't you do it the natural way? You aren't even that big!?" *My answer?----Because I want to live! I want to wake up in the morning and not feel like I could take another 12hr nap. Because I want to walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like I'm having a panic attack from breathing so hard. Because I want to go out and find nice clothing without being subjected to out of style curtain shirts. I'm using this tool because I clearly don't have the willpower to do it on my own and knowing that after this procedure I will no longer have a choice- will motivate me to STOP with the excuse bc there no longer will be room for any (nor in my sleeve hehe ) I will not let the judgement of others refrain me from living because it clearly hasn't worked in my favor thus far. This time...I'M CALLING THE SHOTS #welcome#myjourney#vsg#vsgcommunity#weightlosstransformation#fattofit#gains#goals#healthy#healthyeating#healthyself#nonscalevictory#sleevesurgery#sleeved#gastricsleeve#myturn#motivation#living#lifequotes#notadiet
