I have so much weighing on my heart today I don't even know where to begin. Church always hits me in the feels and gets my mind racing.
Yesterday I went to the farmers market and had so many amazing samples of whatever I wanted and all I kept saying is, "This is so nice to be able to do this and feel free. This is so nice." And the more I think about that statement, the sadder I get. Because things that so many people do on a day to day basis with no anxiety or second that, I am so grateful for now. I took it for granted.
I don't want to live a life where I'm constantly taking things for granted; whether it be experiences or people. I don't want to waist a single minute on this earth not surrounded by uplifting people. I want to be so full of Jesus and spreading His love that I don't have time to worry about all of the insignificant things that I've let consume me. I want to be known as someone who gives 100% in every capacity of my life. I want to always be as happy as I was taking a bite out of this donut.
20 weeks and 35lbs later I have finally finished my holiday prep! Can't thank my PT @rhysfletcher enough for his help with calculating my macros for my own personal flexible dieting programme! Along with this Rhys has been my trainer in the gym, educating me on the correct form to use and consistently helping me hit new PB's! I will continue to work with Rhys and I'm excited to start using his strength training programme after Bali to build muscle, whilst maintaining a lean physic. Any enquiries please contact Rhys directly to help start your journey #fletcherfit
I am turning my life around right now. A full 180 degree change. And it feels freakin' amazing.
The first step to happiness was to remove all drama, unnecessary causes of frustration and toxicity. Anything that felt disgenuine simply had to go. I tossed it like garbage.
The second step was to get into massive physical and mental activity. I started working out twice a week to get back in the rhythm, and am now working out 4-6 times a week doing Zumba, kickboxing and a bit of daily yoga for meditation and flexibility.
The third step was then to add some spice to my professional life with some new sick collaborations and an additional career (YAY!) that will complement my beautiful social marketing business and coaching. Stay tuned for that! My CV never stops growing and neither does my ambition!
The last and most important, vital step for me was to fully revisit my nutrition and health. I've been vegan for 5 years yet still haven't managed to understand what a healthy lifestyle meant. I always believed that everything in moderation was okay, but how is crappy, carcinogenic food ever okay to ingest? Luckily for me, my best friend @luxgranola is a vegan nutrition coach and I've finally decided to jump into the unknown and follow her program for 3 full months.
I will be on a whole foods diet and will be eliminating the following from my diet: processed foods coffee/tea
gluten non organic foods GMO
And those are just a few. I will also need to sprout my legumes and oats, make my own almond milk, and drink clean, purified water using a machine.
3 months without going to restaurants. 3 months without my morning coffee. 3 months without my favorite comfort foods.
And you know what? It's all worth it to me. I am so ready to be the healthiest and happiest version of me. Let's do this!!! 🏻🏻
