Monday morning, out here grinding in the weight room with SJV Football (one of the top high school teams in the state). These guys are young, big dudes, strong as hell, and hungry for a state championship. The intensity in the room helped me hit 9 reps at 225 (not recorded) and then 8 reps after that which you see here. Fantastic atmosphere. #StateChampionBound
Day 1 of a Paleo Challenge! Me and @xraysmom decided to do together. I'm a little over a month out from my next doctors appt. I'm up roughly 10-12lbs...(been eating good...lol), but that's my own fault, cause I haven't been watching how I've been eating. I'm hoping that I will be cleared for full-duty at my next appt. So it's time to #RebuildTheFoundation because I want to be physically and mentally ready when the time comes. I've taken a pic that'll I'll share to show the transformation...plus I use it as my motivation.
Today's #4am training:
Warm-Up: 20min Treadmill Jog
-60s easy jog @ 4.5
-60s rest walk @ 3.3
5 Sets -10 1/4 Squats (controlled)
Rest as needed
-3 Strict Pull-ups -6 Push-ups -9 Good Mornings #15 (Controlled)
Cool Down: 12 min treadmill walk.
Everyone starts a transformation strong. But you need intrinsic motivation to reach the finish line. Find your inspiration to transform your physique. And my inspiration is Dwayne @therock Johnson himself.
