#MeetTheArtist // @jameslomax - James Lomax is an artist working in Birmingham who creates works which he describes as ‘site-reactive,’ and are influenced by the architecture of the space. He uses contradictory materials, which are often alienated from their surroundings. James then assembles his work in response to the surrounding environment in which it will be displayed. I swear I was just ordering business cards. Damn vendors know how to get you. Oh, how about this mug at a reduced price and won't this mouse pad be so cute. Gets me every time. #gullable#shopaholic#salespitch#cute#logo
I worked on the identity for the new London restaurant of the chef and best-selling food writer Stéphane Reynaud, called TRATRA that is going to open next week. This is his first restaurant outside Paris. There will be a wine bar, restaurant and private dining room. 'Tratra must be a place where everybody feels good, a place where sharing is primary, a place where as long as the light is on you can drink and eat' Stéphane Reynaud.
