The Carbide & Carbon Building in downtown Chicago is probably one of the city's best examples of Art Deco architecture. Designed by the Burnham Brothers in 1929, this building was originally home to the regional office of Union Carbide and Carbon Co., which later became Union Carbide Corp. Since it's design, many myths have surrounded it...
The most prominent if the myths about this building regard is appearance. According to Chicago legend, Burnham Brothers designed the building to resemble a dark green champagne bottle with gold foil at the top. As this was built in 1929, during the height of prohibition, that was supposedly a dog at the highly unpopular law.
Perspective on the detail. Can you find the fauna in this shot?
Sound on Oregons beauty can be shown in so many different ways and I don't think there will be an day where we will run out of ways to share it. Here's a time lapse I took while camping out at Smith Rock this past weekend. Truly an amazing place! @pnwonderland@pnwisbeautiful@thegreat_pnw

.. 'There is no energy more powerful than love. Love creates miracles, heals all wounds, and purifies all lower energies. You cannot give love away, for the more you give, the more you will receive in return. When you choose love you bring about the highest good for yourself and others. Offering love is always the right choice. With love you can transform or be transparent to people’s emotions and thoughts, neutralize “negative” energy, and harmonize with all life in the universe. All energy in the universe responds positively to love.'
