I've been up and about for a little over two hours now. I'm looking forward to falling back to #sleep. The #puppy had to go out and then I thought I'd play a game first, and then my mind was too busy for sleep. So what better way to put my mind at ease than to #consider God's words.
Before I had children I never lost too much hair.
After I had my son, I remember I was losing clumps and clumps of hair each time I washed it. I was that concerned that I bagged up my hair from one particular wash and went to the doctors as was that worried that something was wrong.
He was understanding and told me that it was normal to lose that much hair and I had nothing to worry about. I felt such an idiot, but honestly no one tells you the after effects of having kids. I didn't know I would loose that much hair, so to me I believed that something was wrong with me.
After I had my daughter it was the same, luckily I've thick hair so didn't notice too much of a difference.
5 years down the line after having my youngest, I wash my hair once a week and I still loose hair now, every wash. It's something that I've just come to expect.
I have to get down on my hands & knees and literally pick my hair up off the bedroom carpet with tape a few times a week as the carpet is covered in it.
It's things like hair loss, more so after kids that new mothers are not always aware of. Most women I've spoken to have experienced it.
Just another thing for us women to have to put up with. The below pic is my hair loss each weekly wash, I just see it as normal now. Probably why I only wash my hair once a week as it's such a chore . Just to confirm to you new mums that it is normal, nothing to worry about & happens to us all . #mums#hairloss#parenting#newmums#mumslife#parent#hair#kids#children#mumblog#mumbloggers#mumbloggeruk#british
It's quarter to 11 and we are still in pjs here. The sun is out outside but we are basking in its glow from the sofa, about to attempt nap time for the little guy. He partied with mommy till 11.45 last night and still woke at 7.30am so we are taking it easy today. Since going over to the dark side in the playroom and painting a navy feature wall I have found a fresh love for deep dark coloured walls. This shade is perfect and changes throughout the day depending how the light is hitting it. It's admiral from wickes own range. The bronze clock is from the range
