On this day last year I was on vacation just like I am today however it couldn't of been anymore different. .
I was mentally and physically in the worst shape of my life. I was eating pizza at 3 am, stressing most my day over work and petty shit that did not matter while declining any invites from friends and family. I was in paradise but couldn't have felt any further from it. I had such a hunger to get myself back and I knew it was time to work on me. .
Everyday, every week, I needed to work on becoming a better me. For the last year I have worked every single day to improve my mentality, my body, and my relationships with those around me. Today I have more to show than I could have possibly expected at the beginning of this journey. Im down 20 pounds but physically the strongest and fastest I've ever been. I continue to move up the totem poll at IBM while making time to rekindle my DJ career (catch me at Bounce tn!), as well as going on the trips with friends and family that I "didn't have time for" before. .
My first year in NYC I took an L but trust me when I say I bounced back. More importantly, this isn't a one and done transformation, there is no end date and no turning back. Next year I'm going to be hitting you with another sappy post but making this year's me look like a joke just like I did to last year's me. .
If any of you are going through some shit all I can say is, take a breath and work on you. You can't fathom what you can accomplish in a year or even a few weeks if you get serious about doing you. .

This morning, My boy @deeman01 accept my push ups challenge at the end of the workout. **Who ever stops first to take a break has more push-ups to do at the end of tomorrow's workout. We did 100 push-ups right there, we both had our moments when we stopped but we picked it right back up and FINISH. Getting it all done was what counts and we both did that. Sometimes all you have to do is FINISH. You ain't gotta worry about who's either in front of you or behind you as long as you finish. #finish
