This is a modern Korowai Mom & Son in Mabul District. They was pulled out from the Jungle to live in riverside by government. Where everything is easier (for government) to monitoring them, and give them money (without an education in any aspect) every year.
They basically are spacious good and very very kind peoples. But SOME of them are get vaguely modern mindset that makes them (sorry) idiot too.
I was have a bad experience filming in the village. But I truly have a big hope for this tribe, and for some of them (like this Mom & Son) who never forget the exalted values of Korowai Tribe, but life along following the era, that will make them go forward.
My big hopes for Korowai peoples.
Love and light.
