This weekend took me out to Monitor Valley and up Mt. Jefferson, the 6th tallest peak in Nevada: 11,949 feet. The peak is shaped like a crescent moon and boasts three summits. This photo was taken from the south and also tallest summit at the slightly shorter north summit.

24 hours on layovers and planes and I'm finally in Australia for the next week! Went from summer to "winter" this time and the cool weather is lovely. So stoked to work in the office for a little bit and hang with the Sydney fam!
We recently wrote up a review of our RAM Mount...the thingy that sticks to the window and holds our devices. If you're looking for something with the strength of Goliath and the aesthetic of a six packed Spartan warrior, look no further. Link in profile ( bit.ly/LWWRAM ) @rammounts#RAMmount
I've had a few questions and discussions about editing recently. Here's my process:
• Shoot in RAW for the fullest editing potential.
• Import into Lightroom with Copy as DNG and 1:1 Build Preview (slower to import up front, but less resource demanding and faster in the end). • In the Develop module, apply my own customized preset built upon #VSCO Film 06 Portra 160+1+++. (Most of the below settings are already dialed in with my preset—with a bunch of other HSL adjustments—but I'm just mentioning some here.)
• Cool down the WB from As Shot. • If overexposed, decrease the Exposure to recover white details and then bump Shadows. • Decrease Highlights to recover further white details.
• Clip highlights in Tone Curve. • Apply Split Toning: Highlights 215, 12; Balance -23; Shadows 37, 1. • Apply Post-Crop Vignetting as needed at around -10, 25, 0, 80, 0. • Change the Camera Calibration Profile from Portra 160+1 to Portra 400+2 and micro-adjust Saturation on Red, Green, and Blue Primary. • Apply cropping. • Export as a JPEG, Quality 100, Resize to Fit Long Edge at 2,500 pixels. • Import into Instagram and use Lux at 35 and Sharpen at 30.
What's your editing process? Are you happy with your style or do you find yourself experimenting with different edits a lot?

Stay beautiful Chattanooga
We hiked three miles out to this hot spring and it was worth every breathtaking moment (literally breathtaking... the altitude is killin' me). I never would have thought to expect such wild beauty from Idaho, but have been pleasantly surprised. 🥔
