If a computer isn't working and freezes or not working to its optimum then you unplug it leave it to recover and then reboot. Exactly the same with us if we have too much going on and not working to our optimum then unplug, breathe and reboot! Taking time out it is not wasted time it is time to recover. Mediation is the practice of mindfulness and being present in the moment. If you are simply being in the moment there is no place for fears of the past or anxiety of the future. Take time to still your mind
What does my rest days look like
On rest days I focus more on mobility especially any areas that are tight
I do some cardio . Not for fat loss but more for mindfulness
I drop my calories slightly
I might go for a sea swim or just relax .
