Driving around this morning and thankful for the red lights. (Eating and driving is not worth a short life...debatable?) totally joking. Anyways, I brought this bowl of apple oatmeal with me 🏼 #fuel. Dates, frozen banana chunks , coconut, chia, cinnamon, and a bit of 100% maple syrup on top. •
PS. I was driving my little sister to take an exam and we had a long conversation (and sang along to the radio). •
I'm so thankful for her. I'm saying this because I can share my deepest thoughts with that angel. Even though she has a different and unique mind of her own, it's nice to have her actually listen, accept, and respond without judgment while I do the same in return. •
People ask me why I keep looking forward while doing deadlifts, I tell them my future is too bright not to look.
My last set during last week's 5x5 of 60kg at 44kg. Ft @__brawny and @marcuslift giving me mental support.

How do you like your oats in the morning?

Rise and shine ready to munch on this chocolate chia seed pudding, have my coffee and start this day. Chia literally means 'strength' in Mayan. They absorb much more than their weight in water, helping you with hydration and supplying your body with electrolytes. Not only that but they're a great source of fiber, protein, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids which are all super important for building those . Recipe :)
1/2 cup UNSWEETENED almond milk + 2 tbs of chia seeds +
Raw cacoa powder to your liking +
a drizzle of organic maple syrup to taste
Mix it all together and leave overnight. You can also add different toppings of fruits, seeds, nuts etc. Another favorite of mine is adding a dash of rose water or orange zest into the pudding. Enjoy!
