I'm not big on buying DVDs, but these are some of my favorites in my collection. A few rare ones, a few cheap, trashy, fun ones I've picked up over the past year. I have tons more but I was cleaning the DVD shelf in the closet and rearranging my media, and they aren't really anything special.

The Good: "Jurassic Park" is a fantastic film with superb special effects that still hold up to this very day. Stephen Spielberg's classic was truly ahead of its time and good acting, terrific directing, and amazing production all came together to bring us one of the biggest, and most important, movies of the 90's. Luckily that all shines through on this particular blu-ray release and we are treated to incredible video/sound quality and a host of special features that will keep you busy for quite some time. Plus you not only get the blu-ray, but you also get the 3D blu-ray and the traditional DVD, as well. Though I don't think anyone really utilizes 3D blu-ray.
The Bad: There isn't a lot of "bad" when it comes to "Jurassic Park", but if I had to nitpick I'd probably start with the fact that I found it a little hard to get into the characters before they made it to the island and the first 15-20 minutes of the film can be a little boring. I'll just chalk that up to personal taste and my impatience to to the amazing dinosaurs and special effects.
The Verdict: This movie is bursting with iconic cinematic moments that people still love and cherish to this day and has been hailed as a masterpiece by film fans the world over. Is it perfect? No. But what it lacks in perfection it makes up in legacy, and I'm sure those involved with the picture wouldn't change a thing.
