Oh man I love Thai curry. I remember back in Jan when I first embarked on this journey. I'd just bought all the ingredients for it from @Sainsbury's. Chilli's wrapped in plastic, garlic wrapped in plastic, ginger, lemongrass, coriander ALL wrapped in single-use shitty plastic. Within seconds I had a mound of rubbish beside me that would still be on the earth in hundreds of years time all for my one meal?!?! But tonight my friends I have made an ENTIRELY PLASTIC FREE Thai green curry. Only problem is that at the market they sell herbs in HUGE bunches. So looks like I have curry tonight, and two more curry dinners stashed away in the freezer. Couldn't bare to waste it so blitzed it all up and that means I've got one of my fave meals, plastic free waiting for me whenever I like, even if I haven't been able to get to the markets!!! #pop#pissonplastic#earthday2017#earthdaychallenge#plasticfreeweek#plasticfreediet#plasticfreefamily#thaigreencurry#freezerfood#fastfood#whatalovelybunch#corianderfordays

#didyouknow adjusting your thermostat by one degree not only saves energy, it can also save up to 5% on heating costs. TIP: save money on your next energy bill by setting your thermostat a few degrees closer to the outside temperature while you’re away and resetting it when you return. #recycleinstyle
Students are touring our biomass facility, which heats about 70% of campus and reduces our oil consumption significantly. Most of the wood comes from the Proctor Woodlands! #earthday2017#proctoracademy
Great work at today's bike-a-thon, part of our #earthday2017 celebration with the Lower and Middle Schools. Their hard work is paying off for our stewardship fund!
We are so proud of all our grade 3,4 and 5 art students who worked so hard on their beautiful and heartfelt "why are trees important to me" posters. It was very difficult to narrow down the final choice. Not only did our winners seriously explore the topic, they created lovely images, exhibited mastery of technique and finally, brought it all together with succinct and poetic text. @nwkarchdiocese#earthday2017#trees#nature
