I have no idea who Thomas Graham is, but I'm pretty sure he is voting Yes 🏻Also can we just pause and acknowledge the fact that we are actually being asked to vote on EQUALITY. We are being asked if everyone in our society should be treated THE SAME. AND that there are people who are actually campaigning for anything other than EQUALITY 🤦🏻♀️ - #equality#SSM#marriageequality#voteyes#yes#loveislove
Just as we believe education should be available for all, we stand by the right for all our employees to have equal opportunities in life. We therefore support marriage equality. #MarriageEquality#equality#aim
Y’all really don’t get how hard to step forward carrying Fe⛓
I can't believe we still have to fight for every human being to be equal .. this shit shouldn't even be a question. We were all born and put on this earth to live together, to love, to be equal in rights. Every day I think about how it went back home and how some people tried to picture being gay as being a disease, a choice, something different. It is a difference as we are all individuals and by essence all different from one another but who you love isn't a choice wether is falling in love with a terrible being, a same sex human, an older or younger person etc You don't choose who you fall in love with. But as far as I'm concerned we all have our hearts beating and I couldn't care less about what gender yours is beating for! There is so much more to a human being than their sexual orientation: being a nice human, having a good heart, being open minded, being funny, being an honest person and I could go on and on about it! So Australia i hope you'll make the right choice and that we can be proud to tell our kids one day that like many other unfair inequalities this one is History, we made a change and that they will be free to love, marry and build a life with whoever they want to #equality#samesexmarriage#samerights#humanrights#gaymariage#samesexmariageaustralia#sayyesaustralia#loveislove#lovewins
I resent that it's come to this, that our government doesn't have the courage to damn well govern and do what's right. I resent the fact that this is costing millions, is non-binding and exposes an already at risk demographic to further abuse and harm.
Despite all that though, I'll be damned if I don't stand up for what I believe in and vote for love. Today democracy tastes bitter-sweet, but maybe my vote will mean tomorrow is the beginning of something better.
