Good morning beautiful humans I am feeling cute and happy today. I hope everyone is feeling the same way and if not well maybe I can change that. You are all capable of anything especially happiness. I suppose being happy is not always easy but really you just have to get into the right mindset. Think about the things you love, even just the little things about life. Like the soft song of the birds as you wake to the sun gently warming your face. Unless you hate birds and warmth, and you were having a good day until I made you think about them it really does not matter what it is that makes you smile, I just hope that today you let people see it. For there is nothing more beautiful than a genuine smile from one of your fellow humans
I had to push myself through today's workout! I felt every muscle burning with each move and I could hardly catch my breath! But you know what? I pushed myself even harder, intensified the moves, and proved to myself I could do this!!! Every time you push past your limiting beliefs you get mentally stronger!!!
Excerpt from the Skinny Black Girl's Guide to Freedom "This book is so much more than freedom. It's about a self-definition. When you define who you are, no one can take that distinction away from you. If you don't define who you are, you open yourself to living your life inside a box that was built by someone else's definition of you. Some people automatically know who they are, almost as soon as they are old enough to be conscious of the world around them. But for many of us, it takes a little more life experience, a little more push, and a little more encouragement to manifest into the person we are meant to be. Self-definition takes self actualization. Being aware of what drives you will be the biggest investment you can make when you embrace the thought that life is bigger than the one you have currently been living. Be unafraid with finding yourself and being comfortable with what you unveil. A powerful person lies between the person you are and the person that is waiting for you to find them. Recognize your self-limiting barriers and don't let them stop you from getting there. Your challenges should not discourage you, your past does not own you, your environment does not warrant you to be a product, and your relationships with others does not validate your why. Only you can put a seal of approval on your truth but you have to be willing to accept that your circumstances are not a part of that narrative."
