Current body/ diet update
Currently sitting around 58-60kgs at 163cm (5'4") This week my abs have returned after the beloved menstruatal cycle last week and I feel leaner but full. I'm pretty happy with where I'm sitting at the moment and quite certain that I've already gained muscle since comp which is what I'm chasing... those gainzzz baby!
I'm training 5-6 days (depending on how fatigued I am) split body :2 lower and 4-5 upper body days and absolutely smashing my sessions. Best mode in check
My diet is pretty balanced and I'm not tracking calories or macros religiously but I'd say I'd be sitting around 2500 cals a day P30-35% C40- 50% F15-25%
I still prep 3 meals a day which allows to have dinner with my babies I do weigh my protein and carbs when preparing them I find this keeps me on track and I know what I've got to play with with for the rest of the day.
I think it's important to know what your fuelling your body with and making sure you are giving it what it needs to achieve your goals.
I ate burgers on Saturday and on Sunday did I feel guilty? Hell no I trained my ass off all weekend.. were they good? F yes they were and I'll probs my do it all again this weekend!
I am so glad after many years of being in a constant battle with myself about food it was such an unhealthy relationship, I never used to eat much at all then I'd binge eat. My body was craving carbs and good food and Kok what happened when I fed it... I grew some muscle🏽I know now what works for my body and I have prep to thank for that. My body loves carbs!!! I give it carbs I have energy, my muscles are full, I'm strong and I'm a happy girl, if I swap carbs for fat I get fluidy but everybody is different...
Some days I eat clean 100% then other days ill eat half a tub of peanut butter (and wake up a little squishy) it's all about balance🏽
I do always make sure I'm hydrated and drink at least 3L of water daily.
Find what works for you and live a happy healthy life. Food is not bad for you! Do not be afraid to eat you just need to find what works for you...
