3 nice and easy (TM) miles to close out the week. Legs were feeling a bit tired from yesterday's workout so this was perfect. Ready for whatever next week has in store for me and I hope it involves donuts.

When you don't feel like running and can't find the strength to do it, you gotta think where you wanna get to and how you're planning to do so. For sure the answer is not to sit on a couch. I only ran 10 (hard) kilometres today but I'm happy with the result
Perfect Day to go for a 3 mile progression run [8:49, 8:30, 8:03]! Shins felt great even with running 4 miles on Thursday which means I'm closer to getting back to normal training. Not going to lie though I'm super nervous my shins splints will come back once I start Marathon #3 training tomorrow PS: took my @knockaround sunnies for their first test run and they are AWESOME y'all!! No movement while running🏻

Running is as much a mental activity as it is a physical activity. My Garmin showed me that maybe I could be fast, in my "race predictions" screen. Today I felt like I had something to prove to myself. I went out at a 5:30/ km pace straight up (and down) hills with an elevation gain of 74m and felt pretty good. I decided to turn on the jets after 2 kms and hit negative splits for the whole run with my best km at 4:30. The first 5k I ran after having my second daughter took me 33:21, since then I've put in some hard work and made sure I'm eating the right things to fuel my runs and it's been paying off. It's my fastest 5k since having my second daughter (and since getting my Garmin). Bueno, esto podria ser un resumen del triatlon olimpico sin drafting de hoy en villameca. A pesar de hacer una natacion cuasi perfecta y aguantar en bici lo maximo, en la carrera empezaron los problemas. Pero he de dar las gracias a ese grupo de señoras que amablemente se prestaron a curarme las eridas y dejarme un calcetin para evitar males mayores. Desde aqui prometo que las devolvere el calcetin.
Por el resto...ha sido impresionante y no cambiaria absolutamente nada y si se puede otro año, volvere!!!! Güey ye saturday....o sunday....???....oyisti.
