Day 21/100 of #100daysofmovement with @mls6280 & @danaejustinefit:
Today was the @susangkomen Race for the Cure in Newport Beach, CA. I have been running it with my Grandma with the @salon_midori team for years now and this is the first year that I've been away and wasn't able to join them. So we got shirts made anyways and ran a 5K with them all the way from here in Colorado!! 🏼♀️ Only instead of the 80* weather that they were blessed with we ran in 40* and rain!! 🤦🏻♀️ But either way, I'm so happy we were still able to support this cause from afar Love you gma! You are my survivor! 🙃
Thank you Lei from #SalonMidori for always making this happen for us!! #dontblowit#getchecked#susangkomen#raceforthecure

Loooong post alert .
So, I have been super disconnected for a bit. Not that I need a reason, because sometimes we need a break, but life has been a little extra on top of our daily lately.
After returning from a 2 week vacay to Colombia, my hubs and I super randomly decided we would like more space and why not go for it while the market is so hot in our area. We never intended our home to be an investment but turns out it was a great one, so we decided to just go for it.........which meant EVERY SINGLE SPARE SECOND went to getting our house "sale ready" bc for some reason I gave us a crazy time limit and we actually did it.
BUT it got to a point that i just couldn't keep up with it all.
So, my workouts came to a halt, we were all eating fast crap food that we could grab as we rushed from work to go look at houses and the many times we would have to jolt out the door as someone wanted to tour ours. IT'S BEEN CRAZY. But, we have a contract working on our home (1st tour, full price offer-go us) and we found a home we love that we were able to get a contract on as well....
Things have calmed while we are in the waiting phase for inspection and appraisals and such and I am trying to find some motivation to pick back up and get going.
A few things learned through this process:
even though breaks are needed, man oh man is ever hard to find that initial motivation to get you jazzed again
WHEN YOU EAT LIKE CRAP, YOU FEEL LIKE CRAP
Working out is an incredible tension release-When I don't get it in, I can get pretty crabby (by pretty, I really mean crazy).
Every day that passes, it gets harder and harder to get myself back to the mindset I want to be in as far as health so I am getting back after this "little break" so that I can back to feeling me again. .
My first couple workouts this week were so crazy hard and nearly threw up when I tried to run. BUT that's OK, because I am getting up and doing it, even though i TOTALLy SUCK at it right now. Building backbup to a stable routine to get my healthy back, and YOU CAN to! I want to encourage anyone who's stuck, to just get up and try, even if baby steps. #letsdothis#freshnewweek
