Fake smile itu emang nyakitin banget. Mereka ga tau apa yang kita rasain. Yang mereka tau aku bahagia. Dan itu sering banget cewek lakuin. :'( #Strong#fake smile #Hijab#05
"So many of us are regretting that we did not make the most of this month.
We weren't of the people who did as much praying and Quran reading because of our circumstances. We wasted time. We messed up. And we're down.
But the focus on worship being relegated to only fasting, praying and Quran has caused many in our Ummah to both burn out and miss out of the vast opportunities for worshipping Allah in special ways in daily life.
Think about it like this: Who is changing a diaper, intending it to be an act of worship for God’s sake? Who is feeding a cat, hoping all of their sins will be wiped away? Who is staying up late to finish a deadline to provide for their family? Who is visiting a hospice, praying the time they spend visiting those who are facing death will be a means of their own comfort when they are at its throes? Who is offering to help clean the masjid bathroom with the custodial staff, knowing the staff is overworked in Ramadan? Who is turning back to God in complete repentance, having hope He will accept it? That is great worship in and of itself.
Ibn alQayyim reminds us, "Perhaps you might be asleep while the doors of Heaven are knocking with tens of supplications for you, by a poor person you aided or a sad person you cheered up or a distressed person you brought relief to. Therefore, do not underestimate doing good at all.” And as Ibn Rajab tells us, "Let those who have failed to make the most of this month end it with good, because actions are (judged) by their endings." We still have time. Don't rely on your deeds. Rely on God's incredible mercy and have trust in His Name AlShakoor- The All Appreciative. He appreciates what we belittle.
Gratitude in and of itself is an act of worship- one which God promises to increase you in good through.
End your Ramadan grateful for any small good He blessed you with doing, and know that even if you felt it wasn't enough, it was witnessed by the One Who is All-Appreciative of every good."
