A busy week ahead next week so have kept my food plan pretty simple. It was more difficult than normal to write though, avoidance of difficult tasks is I am sure something everyone can relate to! --link to full post in bio--

A great quote from the CEO and Founder of Amazon - Jeff Bezos. I guess this can also be used for the people you work with and the company you choose to work for. If your work is going to take up so much of your time make sure you find what your truly passionate about.
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. See great things. And happy Friday! 🏻
Imagine that someone hands you a heavy suitcase filled with a million dollars in cash. You want to thank them so you throw your arms open wide to give them a big hug. Trouble is, you have yet to RECEIVE said money. It takes a different kind of energy to RECEIVE. There will be time enough to give thanks, but for now, put your hands out and focus on what you've got coming in. Focus on love. #inspire#inspired#inspirationalquote#inspirational#inspirationalquotes#receive
Heightened sensitivity & empathy can often feel really challenging and overwhelming. There are some days when being extra sensitive can feel more like a curse than a gift.
As a child and teenager, I constantly felt overwhelmed by my sensory experience. I didn't have the resources to know how to stay grounded and connected to myself. I was often an energetic vacuum and couldn't discern between my own energy and the energy of other people. Setting healthy boundaries was almost near impossible.
When we learn to stay connected to ourselves in the midst of overwhelm, that is when our sensitivities begin to transform into our superpowers.
When we learn to use our incredible empathy and sensitivity to attune to our environment and relationships without taking on the energy, what once might of felt like a curse begins to transform into an amazing gift.
It's as if we have suddenly have this deeply intuitive sense of how to respond to any situation that arises, but have learned to stay anchored in our ground, take care of ourselves and set clear healthy boundaries.
Once we learn how to care for and nurture our distinctly unique and amazing nervous system, the world is our oyster.
One really powerful practice I use on the daily to release unwanted energy is the Energetic Vacuum Exercise.
1. Envision a vacuum beginning to gently move through each of your seven energy centers beginning from the crown, moving to the third eye (middle forehead), the throat, the heart (center of chest near sternum), the solar plexus (middle of stomach a few inches above belly button), sacral (a few inches below the belly button) and root (at the base of the spine) Watch as any unwanted energy gets sucked directly into the vacuum to be recycled directly into source.
2. Continue this process until all unwanted energy is gone.
3. To close the exercise, envision a larger vacuum or vortex beneath your feet emerging from the core of the earth. Allow any remaining particles of unwanted energy still stuck in your energy field to be sucked into the energetic vortex.
