Read on to learn more about SWP alum Ramon Gimenez experience with StreetWise! *************************************************
Ramon Gimenez joined StreetWise Partners searching for a job in IT. Having recently come to the US from Venezuela, Ramon felt that throughout the job process there were cultural gaps.
With StreetWise, Ramon was able to receive the support he needed. He expressed, “When you review your resume, it’s kind of like your reviewing your whole life.” Being able to do this with mentors was crucial to Ramon. In addition to this, the public speaking opportunities were important to Ramon, who initially was self-conscious talking in front of people with his accent.
As Ramon continues to search for his ideal position, he knows he has support and resources. He still meets with his mentors every two weeks, and looks forward to attending future networking opportunities through StreetWise!
