We are happy to bring to you our event for the March Meetup with Ameen Haque on "Challenging Gender Stereotypes"
Gender stereotyping affects Women, Men and Children within a family setup, at work, at school and even outside said institutions. Come over to our session as we break the mold and learn to lead by example.
No matter the type of difficult situation in which you find yourself, dealing with difficult individuals who cause it is a must. Come over to Powerchats as we attempt to resolve such issues. #leanin#leaninbangalore#powerchats

Meet our first #100stories feature – Rashmi Mathur. Rashmi is currently an engineering leader at Adobe and her journey of 18 years within the technology industry is something to share. Coming from a small town in Rajasthan, it was through the support of family that Rashmi was encouraged to study, become an engineer and be one of the first few women in her family to start a career.
After graduating in the late-1990s, the early 2000s dot-com boom saw a lot of technology opportunities open up and she made the move from NIIT to a technology firm in Hyderabad. Soon after, she suffered a health situation due to which she lost vision in her left eye. We’ve met Rashmi multiple times and we haven’t ever realized this until she told us about this herself. “I have had my share of adversities but encouragement from my family, unending persistence and being honest with my supervisors have gone a long way in building a strong foundation”, says Rashmi.
Due to her strong performance in each of her organizations, she won many awards and became a Manager within 7-8 years in the industry. She went on to obtain a post-graduate degree from IIMB while working with a second baby on the way. This is no small achievement in any measure and we are amazed at Rashmi’s ability to push the envelope further every single time.
