They say when you put it out there, the chances increase that it will come to fruition. So I'm putting it out there.
We are prepping for our next challenge group and I want to help 4 more women this month get ready to make a change that will inspire changes in every other aspect of their life.
I want to help 4 women lose a few pounds and gain a healthy relationship with food and exercise. I have 12 days to reach this goal. 12 days to find 4 women who want to get on track to a healthier version of themselves this year.
Who will it be? Will you be one of these 4? I will reveal all 4 people who decide to take this challenge on February 1st.
So message me, or comment below with your e-mail. Heck, send me an e-mail!
My cuddle bug today while I was in the ER. Sometimes I feel like these doctors don't even care- but then you get a good one... who cares genuinely about their patients well being. I was told I had diverticulitis -by my primary -which didn't make sense because I've been vomiting non stop for 4 days along with other lovely stomach problems and a whole lotta pain. So I finally went in to the ER after being up all night in excruciating pain, and being extremely dehydrated. Luckily, my ct scan was golden... but my urine sample showed a horrible uti, with blood and crystals. You're welcome for the mental picture. If my primary would have just taken a urine sample I could have saved myself a lot of pain and suffering. If you know it's more than a bug- and they are giving you the run around, don't give up. It sucks to be in pain and it sucks to feel like no one is listening... but someone will listen, and you'll begin to feel alive again. My quality of life for the past week was everything but wonderful. Being sick and being a mom is HARD. Being a mom without being sick is freaking hard. Yay for meds and antibiotics. I'm thankful that we have access to medicines like this... and I'm thankful for the doctor that showed me compassion today.
I saw these at the store earlier, and yes, I still crave these (left pic - you remember pinguinos marinela right?), but gladly I just kept doing my thing (small victory, whoop). The girls were with me and honestly, I didn’t want them to eat that stuff which is often times a bigger reason for me not to reach for unhealthy non-food items ;). When they asked me for an afternoon snack, those cupcakes were still on my mind (I know), so I opted for this option instead (right pic). Can you believe the cupcakes on the left have sugar, high fructose corn syrup, shortening, and hydrogenated oils as the top ingredients, not to mention each cupcake has 30g of sugar, and only 3g of protein.
On the other hand, my little homemade cupcakes had as the top ingredients pea, oat and rice protein, chia, flax and quinoa seeds (other ingredients include kale, and spinach ;), and just 8g of sugar and 16g of protein. I threw in a little organic peanut butter in the middle, some organic Annie’s yogurt on the top, made it in 2 minutes tops, and it was completely gone in less than that lol.
I might start making these healthy cakes for a living 🤔. Would anyone want one ? Now to pick a food truck .

Over a week ago I was sick and congested with a headache, fever sore throat, coughing, runny nose, and chills. My #mom made me a big pot of #love, it was filled with the most nutrient dense #herbs, #spices, and #vegetables to help support and strengthen my immune system
Typically when I try to fight off a virus it would linger for a week or two. My mom's #bowl of #soup had me out the #bed and back to normal in three days.
It feels so #good when you have someone that will #care for you when you are out of #balance. It is a blessing when they love you through - to regain #harmony and balance.
Who loved you through a sickness and how did they make you feel better?
