Happy weekend my wonderful people!
Have a fantastic day and remember: "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind".
Some of our participants managed to achieve fantastic results! Minus 10 pounds, minus 2 pants sizes… Impressive! But some of you asked: why is my progress so slow? Why haven’t I lost 20 or 30 pounds? Cause it’s simply impossible! Even if you won’t eat at all and train 2 hours a day. Nope. Won’t happen. It’s biology! We asked our fitness consultant to show some figures. If you are… well, the scientific term sounds like “obese“ (25%+ fat for men and 35%+ for women) then your maximum is 8-18.5 lbs in a month. Depends on how much fat you have. If you’re moderately overweight (18-24% of fat for man, 28-34% for women) then you can lose 6-8 lbs in a month, not more! An average person’s (13-17% of fat for man, 23-27% for women) top is 4,5-6 lbs and a lean guy (8-12% fat) or gal (15-20% fat) can burn 1,5-4,5 lbs. It’s scientifically proven. No chance to cheat nature!
But there’s good news too! If you’re not satisfied you’d better go on training! Join the Season 3 and continue to shoot your fat! It’s easy to gain and hard to burn. Yup, nature is very unfair.
Today I met with Marcus at @ironbodycoaching Studios. I came to Marcus wanting a coach to discipline me and push me to my absolute limits to get me up on that stage. As I said in my previous post, I never deadlift. Today, Marcus told me I was going to be lifting my 1RM of 80kg. I seriously doubted my capabilities. With a few technique tweaks, determination and a coach who believed in me, I got that 80kgs off the ground. (Only took me 4 attempts) but super stoked. So excited to be apart of the Iron body Team, bring on 2017
