I believe survivors #NoDAPL#defendthesacred Repost: @tomaskarmelo: "Women from across Turtle Island came together at The Oceti Sakowin Camp to facilitate workshops for three days in support of healing survivors of rape, abuse, and harassment. Dally healing circles were conducted to help create safe spaces to share stories. The events culminated in a march that brought awareness to the parallels between the abuse of kunsi/unci (Grandmother Earth) and women. Water and land protectors participated in making quilt squares for a special project led by Rebecca Nagle of The “Kik Ta! Wake Up” Project.
The Monument Quilt: a public healing space by and for survivors of rape and abuse. The Monument Quilt is an ongoing collection of stories from survivors of rape and abuse. To date, over 1,000 collected quilt squares have been displayed in 22 different cities across the US (read more on CNN and MSNBC). As the quilt continues to grow, survivors, loved ones and supporters are encouraged to make a square. In a culminating display in Washington, DC, 6,000 fabric squares will blanket over one mile of the national mall to spell “Not Alone.”

・・・ @Regrann from @ocetisakowincamp - Camp Update
We are finally communicating with the Army Corps of Engineers directly, not the Governor, not Morton County, Not DAPL
Every morning for the past two mornings at 9am officials from the Army Corps of Engineers have been meeting with representatives from the camp. They are working directly with Oceti so that the camp itself remains safe and the cleaning and clearing can continue.
1. We don’t want anyone to get hurt
2. We want to clean up camp
3. The Army Corps has been asked to ask DAPL and LEO to stop positioning in an aggressive manner.
4. We are taking this one day at a time
The Governor can’t evacuate the camp without the Army Corps ok.
The Army Corps of Engineers wants to continue working collaboratively with camp to ensure that the camp is cleared in a good way.
Representatives include people who have been in camp in regular communication with campers.
BIA Checkpoint at the South of the camp: As of last night they were not allowing anyone into the camp who had sleeping bags, firewood, or anything that could be perceived as building materials. Some food and water items have been reportedly confiscated.
Arrests and Court:
"A judge dismissed the criminal trespass charges against three pipeline protesters halfway through their jury trial this morning.
According to lawyers in the courtroom, the judge found the prosecutor had not shown the land was posted or that the protesters had been asked by an authorized person to leave — at least one of which is required to prove criminal trespass."
Last night: Impromptu meeting happened yesterday with Chase Iron Eyes and Holy Elk and others. Meeting planned for 7 pm to discuss evacuation plan and plans for those wanting to stay.
Women gathering planned for this weekend at Cheyenne River. They are going to film a call there by indigenous women for people to come on the 22nd and 23rd.
It was also suggested at the meeting, in reference to the evacuation letter, that no one will be allowed to return to camp after the 21st. #TheWorldisWatching #PrayersUP #NoDAPL#NoKXL #NoSpiritualSurrender #MniWiconi
Water. A powerful miracle of Earthly sustenance. I honor thee in the sky, in the soil, in the rivers, lakes and oceans. I honor thee in my cells and in my Spirit. Citrine. Anhydroagate. Smokey quartz. @bodhi_space water mist.
LoveProtectionStrengthMagic - The Dakota Access Pipeline travels threateningly across hundreds of waterways. We know there will be more, there will be others. CHARGE THE WATERS. Rose Quartz is my number one crystal ally for all of the pure, unconditional love it generates. And in fact, South Dakota is the only place in the US that it is found. [Standing Rock is in ND, yes, but the pipeline travels south through SD and beyond] Black Tourmaline and Smoky Quartz both offer protection. BLack tourmaline is also great for purification and eliminating toxins while Smoky Quartz is the premier grounding stone. Hematite (also a key grounding stone bc of its heaviness) along with blood stone, tigers eye and petrified wood, are for strength. Petrified wood encourages patience and connection to ancestors, tigers eye can help with taking action and stamina, and blood stone offers courage and the dispelling of negative energies. Last, but never least, labradorite, the stone of magic. It amplifies the effects of healing prayers and intentions and is also a great protector. These are some of my favorite stones to work with, but they are not all the water needs. Gather what stones you have and bring them to your nearest river, stream, creek, lake, pond, lagoon, ocean, etc - if you don't live near anything like that set your stones in a bowl of tap water to charge and simply pour it back down the drain or back into the earth! Either way, it will find its way. (Disclaimer: remember, not ALL stones like the water, these guys are all good, but if you want to use others double check to make sure you don't ruin your stone!) #chargethewaters#nodapl#waterislife#standingrock#artasresistance#crystalqueer#crystalwitch#crystalmagic#crystalpower
I was walking through the hyvee parking lot, wearing this wonderful T shirt when a white guy in his over sized pickup truck stops, rolls down the window and screaming "FUCK YOU YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" and blaring his over sized horn pointing at the T shirt. Big Trump bumper sticker on the back. Classy people, trumpsies. #nodapl#resist#NoDAPL#nevermypresident

In case you were wondering. There is a Mexican saying, “Tienes la cara de nopal,” which roughly translates to, “You have the face of a cactus." It is what some Mexicans say to each other when one forgets where he or she came from.
But this goes out to all immigrants and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd an shit even the 10th generations Hispanic Americans.Don't forget where you came from.
