"...Turn left after the dead tree then go 50 meters through swampy area - don't forget to put on wellingtons there are longer than your legs. Then pass a small field that is taller than you and try not to loose the direction", - a stop halfway to the river for trying to remember the tricky way
Truly saddened by the horrific attacks on Manchester last night. My thoughts with anyone effected by it all. It's the city where I first met my wife 16 years ago. It is the place that changed me through its culture when I was leaving my teenage years. It's where the two of us have spent so many days. From the comic shops and cafes of the northern quarter to Afflecks Palace, a place I have loved for so long, to the markets every November across the city, the Irish bar on the backstreet of Deansgate, the famous football grounds where my wife spent many family weekends growing up. The city has a rock hard heart, a gritty core and a solid foundation that had helped it overcome many things in the past. It will overcome this grotesque event too. As humans we always, regardless of those who try to stop us, help each other through fucked up times. That heart still beats in the city, it's just broken right now.
Two weeks to go / Kaks nädalat Eestini :) :) :) Norra on kodu nr 2!
#north#mountains#love #fjord#friendship #nature#happy#woman#eesti#norway
