Here's what those blocks from my previous post turned into.
So. Confession. I loved this as a quilt top but I hated it once it became a quilt. I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something different with the quilting and it really didn't work well. I think I left too much space unquilted - and it was really hard to snap photos of - so this is about the only shot I have. I was working to a deadline (it was a gift for my daughters teacher) so didn't have time to unpick and redo the quilting. Wish I had though! Long story short - I'm going to stick with my usual basic straight line quilting in future!
Totally different prints, but the combination is always going well!⠀
How would you combine these dark fabrics?⠀
With a bright yellow color? In my opinion, these new shoes are looking quiet good with #fragilefabric ⠀
Foundation pieced key strap. Triangles 1" wide, 1/2" tall, 60 pieces of fabric. I covered the metal clip before pinching it together but I totally dented the daylights out of it. #keyfob#paperpiecing#flyinggeese
