Grilled chicken laid upon boiled brown rice topped with Thai peanut sauce. Sided with a salad with kale, spinach, cucumber, red peppers and tomatoes, glazed over with a homemade avocado salad sauce my girlfriend found on the internet containing avocado, cilantro, garlic, pepper and salt. #cooking#poormansgourmet#cookingisawesome#sidesalad#kaleislife
This is the wife and I, in Galveston TX, before this last Hurricane smashed through this area. My kids were born there and we've since moved away but its such a shame the damage down there was so extensive. I'm really glad that folks are coming together and pitching in to help one another in this time of Crisis. I even noticed that the self checkout stands at Walmart are taking donations on the touch screens to give shoppers a chance to donate and help others while they're helping themselves to the food and supplies that many of us take for granted. I'm thankful for everything I have and I give and help others, often. I hope we can all remember to practice these habits on a regular basis without having a natural disaster or terrorist attack to remind us that we are all human.
Almost finished. This started out as the cardboard box my Monster stereo was shipped in. My 6 year old daughter begged to keep the box for herself. When I asked her what she wanted it for, she said she wanted to make a dollhouse out of it. That's when I stepped up to the plate and told her I'd make her the best card board doll house possible!
Look at the mess I just made! Tri Tip with Chimichurri Sauce and I didn't film it. I'm totally kicking myself in the head right now. If you want me to film and post this recipe give me a like and a comment below to let me know.
