So I reported this as an unemptied public litter bin using the Glasgow City Council app. It's sat for ages getting worse. This morning I decide to log again but as flytipping and look how quickly it got sorted! I'm really happy but also baffled. They only lifted it after I had re-categorised it even though I had attached a photo. Madness! #rubbish#flytipping#cleanup#environment
In my jar this month.. packaging tape and labels, a couple of receipts that I don't usually accept, a bottle of bio almond oil that I thought would come in glass and didn't, the last medicine packet (no more of that thanks), windows from letters.. the second hand things I bought came in packaging but I'll store it for the future. My worm farm came in packaging I could feed to my wormies. How cool is that?! www.wurmkiste.at .There's a couple of reusable but plastic bags at school that my books came in despite asking for no plastic. Darn it. Don't know what to do with the plastic stuff the kitchen will come in this month....cringing already.
The buying frenzy was insane at IKEA today. I walked out after ordering the kitchen with only my sage I grew still in my hand from the old apartment.. can't say that the IKEA urge to spend money on shit was totally gone though.. #packagefree#plasticisnotfantastic#dontfeedtheplasticmonster#trashisfortossers#lesswaste#zerowastelifestyle#zerowaste#whatsinmyjar#greenlife#rubbish#wenigmüll#umweltschutz
ROSALIND ALEXANDER . 'Stop poaching our rhinos'
My name is Rosalind Alexander and I was born in London on the 13th September, 1989 to South African parents and have lived here since I was two years old. I studied Accounting at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and went on to do my articles with Deloitte in Durban before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. I am an adoring mother of one and treasure the time I spend with my family.
I have travelled extensively around Europe,Canada, and the U.S.A. but feel that the combination of warm weather, warm sea, the diversity and the overall quality of life in Durban makes it difficult to rival.
