These strange structures had scientists baffled a year ago. Until they watched this baby spider hatch out of the middle. Scientists are still researching the purpose of this "Silk Henge" structure. You can catch a video of this little guy on National Geographic weird and wild.

Hanging out with my mini this evening at the school for some science fun!!! She has been registering for her high school classes coming up in the next school year, and all I can think is...how can this be real?!?
This child was tragically lost while living in the womb. She was obviously a baby, a human being, and a person. People who support abortion claim that she was just a mere ‘fetus’. In their quest to dehumanize these children, they refuse to acknowledge that a ‘fetus’ isn’t a separate organism, but simply a stage of human life. A stage each of us passed through to get to where we are today.
Dehumanization is always a precursor to mass human slaughter and abortion has been no exception. Worldwide, over 1,500,000,000 (one billion five hundred million) human beings have been killed while cradled in their mother’s womb. Our species has lost its moral bearings. We’ve turned on members of our own family in the interest of maintaining our lifestyles. How many more of our children must die before we realize that we are committing the worst holocaust ever known?
If you’re ready to recognize the fact that those currently living in the womb are people like you and I, then you must take action to protect them. The only other option is to turn your back on the truth that we are killing our own young at an epidemic rate. What side of history will you be left standing on?
Eating 6 smaller meals per day stokes the metabolic fire, boosts metabolism, and burns more fat!
You’ve probably heard the advice that eating small meals throughout the day is a good way to burn more fat. The claim is that frequent snacking, as long as it’s healthy of course, keeps your metabolism revved up, staves off hunger, and controls blood sugar levels.
The end result? You eat less, right?
Except it may not work that way... A study from the University of Ottawa found that on a low-calorie diet, there was no weight loss advantage to splitting calories among six meals or three meals.
Let's compare the pros & cons of each... Upside of eating more frequently: -potentially less likely go "off track".
-"feels" like you're eating more.
Downside of eating more frequently:
-takes a lot of prep time to prepare food.
-may elicit hungry as smaller meals/snacks aren't very satiating.
-think about food more.
Upside of eating less frequently:
-less prep time to prepare food.
-get to consume bigger, more satisfying and satiating meals.
-"feels" like you're eating more food.
-think about food less.
Downside of eating less frequently:
-potentially more likely to go "off track" and snack between meals.
-that's all I can think of right now.. Eating frequently may have benefits for some people but it is incorrect that this affects the amount of calories we burn. Eating three meals of 800 calories has the exact same metabolic affect on total calories burned as eating six meals of 400 calories.
Multiple studies have compared eating many smaller meals vs. larger meals and concluded that there is no significant effect on either metabolic rate or total amount of fat loss.
It makes no difference if you eat 6 smaller meals per day, or 2 larger meals per day (or any # of meals) when calories are matched by the end of the day.
It comes down to personal preference. Do what works for you and your lifestyle. If you enjoy eating more often and you're seeing progress, keep doing that. If you like larger, more satisfying meals, maybe switching to 2-3 large meals (no snacks) will work better for you.
If you want to eat..... 🏻continued..
