More than half way finished with week 7! Waking up at 5:30 a.m. to get a workout in has been such a struggle. But it's only 30 minutes so why not 🤷🏻♀️ I'm so thankful for all my peeps in my Wellness Studio and #fiercebabesspringbootcamp because they keep me so motivated & accountable. 🏼

School buses take workers to and from the onion fields. While they are trademarked Vidalia onions nowadays, in the 1950's and 60's they were simply called "Glennville sweets" or "Toombs county sweets" or whatever the town or county name where they were grown. The reason they are so sweet is lack of sulphur in the soil in southeast Georgia. Tattnall county grows most of the "vidalia onions" on the market. It's a giant part of our economy and when it's onion harvesting time the whole town smells like fresh onions which is pleasing. I know the man who holds the national record for sweet onion sweetness. To think at one point there was independent farmers growing "reidsville sweets" and "cobbtown sweets" and competing with each other until one day they realized they could make more if they joined together is mind boggling. A true living example of the American dream. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #vidalia#vidaliaonion#onion#sweetonion#georgiagrown#southgeorgia#georgia#birdman

He said, "light mantled sooty albatross suits you, dark, pretty, and very difficult."
Me: "hey, look I found a picture of light mantled sooty, grey-headed, and royal altogether."
Him:"no light mantled sooty with wanderer?"
Me: "no, just royal."
Him:"I'll go there to take it my own, puppy eyes light mantled and wanderer in the same shot."
Me:"it's hard to see them together, no?"
Him:"they are both beautiful and far away."
Me:"I only have light mantled on its own here."
Him:"not for much longer."
This is the first day of my life. Yours was the first face I saw, I think I was blind before I met you !

When ya mama tells you not to talk to strangers on social media but little does she know that you would meet two of your best-friends on there! 🏼 There isn't enough words that could express my love and appreciation for everything these two have done for me. They are truly my life savers.
Lindsey and I met two years ago and she completely changed my life for the better. She introduced me to a life that I had longed for. She taught me the foundations for nutrition because for so long I thought eating chips, sodas, and cupcakes for dinner was okay. Linds mentored me through my journey and she still does. She also introduced me to my friend, success partner, and rock Melody! I have no clue what I would do without either one of these ladies! They have taught me so much about friendship, health, and wellness.
New Orleans ain't ready for this! I can't freaking wait to spend a couple days in New Orleans learning and growing on our health + wellness with these two babes and a community of like minded people.
