We all make mistakes, get off track and slip up! I do it all the time. It’s just a part of life isn’t it??
The thing is, when you really want to be successful and reach your goals, you won’t let those slip ups derail you. You will realize that they happen and move on!
Today is a new day, a fresh start. Take advantage of that. Change your mindset. You need to believe that you are capable of achieving your goals. .
Don’t let your past failures prevent your future success! You are amazing! You’ve got this!!
As a follow on from last nights whinge, I'm trying to employ as much damage control as possible in terms of my diet, starting today. Even though I'm stressed, I can just rely on #myfitnesspal and do #iifym on autopilot. I just need to pull in the reigns a little and turn off that switch that says 'you're stressed, eat what you want'... which has been the case. When your mind is so consumed with work and your priorities shift, it's hard to keep on yourself, but I need to try, if I ever want my relationship with food to get any better.
This is what a lifestyle change looks like. She's not on a diet, she's on a mission to change the way she behaves with food. Not one calorie or macro was counted for this change. She did not starve herself into an irritable, lethargic mother, wife, boss and friend. She just came off a week-long celebration with friends and family followed by a business trip and still lost a pound as she enjoyed every minute of it. She was not exercising. (I know, we are working on that. ;) She's now ready to start.) She rates the difficulty of my program implementation a 2-3. Her success has spilled into other areas of her personal and professional life.
She refuses to look back.

After teaching an Eating Psychology + Mind Body Nutrition workshop to 20+ new head nodding (yes I agree with what you're saying) faces it's hard not to smile I'm so happy that people are open to this new approach to health and wellness (and weight loss). They loved the idea What you Eat is Only Half the Story. The Other Half is Who You are as an Eater how are you showing up to the table? What are the thoughts beliefs and emotions that you are thinking as you eat? Are you eating in a Stressed state or a Relaxed State? 🤔What do you guys think?! Let me know 🤗
I've read posts on Instagram about how ppl only post their highlights on their page .. Well this is my LOW LIGHT OF THE DAYThis has been my toughest month..struggling hard.. eating bs I haven't ate in over three years .. my recovery is going really slow .. I'm really trying to cope with the lows better, but no such luck today.. ran a couple of errands and my entire foot swelled in my kicks and I had to find a bench to rest every five steps, waiting for the pulsing pain to subside.. My doc tells me, we always tend to want to be farther along, in healing than we are .. this is the epitome of me right now.. all the things I wanted to do today and now I'm right back home again, in pain.... waiting on my heating pad to heat up and pain meds to kick in.. so nervous that at my 4 month check up, they will tell me I will need a second surgery something just doesn't seem right with my foot still... either that, or my expectations are just too high, on how far I should be at this stage.... #posteriortibialtendonsurgery#postopblues#fdltransfer#pttdsurgery#anxiety#depression#weightgain#stresseating#weightlossjourney#lowlights#flatfootreconstructionsurgery#heelwedge#strugglebus # #chips#why#idontevenwantthese#ugh
I can honestly say I feel like this EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!
Estos huracanes tienen al burro #StressEating más de lo normal Pero él sabe que siempre hay que mantener la calma y mantenerse preparados y seguros, por eso, hoy desde las 5 y mañana permanecemos cerrados. Stay safe!
When 95% of your family and all of your childhood friends are being pummeled by a crazy storm and you are me you wake up at 4am and bake a cake. This is one of the things I love about the kitchen you can be engaged and active- it doesn't take your mind off of things but It keeps it company. And then you get the comfort of eating it. #stresseating + ¡fuerza!
