I have been spending some of my Sunday's clearing out my aunt's house to prepare it for sale. We have uncovered the downright silly (see Insta story) to the lovingly sentimental (this picture of my grandfather.) It is the collection of a life. And as we peel away the layers and discern which to let go of and which to keep, I am oddly grateful for the opportunity to know and understand this complicated human so much better. #anygivensunday#livewithpassion#loveyourlife#trynottofillyourgarage
ғєѧя is a powerful thing ,
If you can figure out a way to wrestle that FEAR to push you from ɞєһıṅԀ rather than it standing ıṅ ғяȏṅṭ of you , that's VERY powerful!
Aren't these Dahlias beautiful?! A friend shared them along with a message today. The roots and bulb that starts these are ugly and dirty, but full of this amazing potential. If we only judged the flower by its' roots then we miss out on the flower. The gardener knows that it takes that dirty bulb, time, water, soil, and sun to create this masterpiece. Regardless of all this that root still has the potential. God sees the potential in us and knows what it takes to get us to bloom to our full potential. See the potential in others and ourselves like God sees it. #bloom#sharinggoodness#sundayinspiration#potential
As you plan the week ahead and set expectations for yourself, remember to stay open minded and be flexible when it comes to establishing your successes or "wins".
Perhaps a "successful" life looks different than you imagined it a few years ago.
Maybe you did get what you had dreamed of and it wasn't as amazing as you imagined?
Or you might just be evolving as we all do and what was once a thrill is not what you are seeking anymore.
All of this is totally okay and it's important to be honest with yourself. Whether it was a position you were yearning for at a company, a material possession or maybe an overall lifestyle.
We change, we grow and so should our desires and dreams.
Reflect internally as the week progresses and don't be afraid to let go of some old dreams (whether you accomplished them or not) and let new ones take shape.
Good night! xo
Laurie Hernandez inspired us all in 2016 when she made her Olympic debut as the first U.S.-born Latina on the USA Gymnastics team since 1984. In Rio, she took home the Silver in the balance beam event final, and along with the rest of the Final Five, won Gold in the team all-around. Dubbed the "Human Emoji" for her lively personality on the gymnastics floor, Laurie shows that the best thing you can be is yourself – especially when pursuing your dreams. We’re excited to celebrate this G.I.R.L. during #HispanicHeritageMonth! See more details by tapping the link in our bio! #LaurieHernandez#SundayInspiration#inspiration#QOTD
"You will learn a lot about yourself if you stretch in the direction of goodness, of bigness, of kindness, of forgiveness, of emotional bravery. Be a #warrior for love." @cherylstrayed So thrilled to have had the opportunity to see Cheryl's powerful and #insightful writing come to life at @publictheaterny . This play is based off of Cheryl's book of the same title and delves into the lives and stories of both Cheryl and those writing to her for advice on love and life. Tiny Beautiful Things emphasizes the universal experience of pain and suffering and reminds us that it is through these experiences where we have the opportunity to grow into our most beautiful and #compassionate selves. #tinybeautifulthings#offbroadway#beinspired#quotable#brutiful#wholeheartedliving#sundaynight

May God bless the woman in me, the woman I'm trying to be. May He mend where my heart is broken and fill every empty space. He has erased the mistakes of my past so He can create in me a brighter future. #sundayinspiration

Let your lips P R A I S E Him day and night. 🏻 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentations 3:25-26) #InternallyBeautifull

You are NEVER worthless! Those thoughts and feelings are from Satan. He wants us to feel inferior and worthless because he wants us to be miserable! He wants us to feel so worthless that we feel that we are not worthy to stay on this earth. When we feel this way, we need to DROP to our knees and PRAY! Satan will not be able to knock us down, if we are already on our knees. Friends, PLEASE know you are worth it. You are precious. Your life here on earth is precious. Value yourself as "Heavenly Father does. NOT the way the WORLD does." #ldswomensconference
