Tiny is adamant about having a nice table setting every Sunday dinner. She loooooves it. And will set the table about 3-4 hours before dinner because she gets so excited. I love that she is learning skills and manners. Most of us didn't have a fork, we didn't have matching glasses and she got a little confused where everything went but she did this all by herself. And I'm so proud! Here's to promoting Sunday dinner togetherness! #wherememoriesaremade#sundayinspiration#family#familygoals#traditions#tiny#downsyndromelove#dishinwithlisa
Last week I was too sick to give the lesson in church on optimism that I had been so looking forward to. #irony. But I love this quote from the lesson too much not to share it: • "Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed.
• “Most putts don’t drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. …
• “Life is like an old-time rail journey—delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed.
“The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.” --Jenkin Lloyd Jones (as quoted by #gordonBHinckley)
