"Who does she think she is?" I know who I am and I know what I stand for. I know my worth, my flaws, and my gifts. I know where my beauty lies and where my anger dwells. I am comprised of love, hurt, laughter, pain, and bountiful blessings. #thisiswhoiam
This beautiful silk & cashmere blend lounge suit is my kinda tracky! Here I've vamped it up with my Manolos but mostly I wear it with ballets or roman sandals. What's your idea of comfy casual? The amount of dislikes compared to likes on Youtube Spotlight's latest "#/ProudToBe" video disgusts me. It shakes me to my very core.
The comments section worsened it. I wanted to see people defending the LGBTQ+ people, however, at least 90% of what I'd managed to scroll through without punching the glass door beside me was filled with nothing but hate. "L- Let's; G- Go; B- Bully; T- The; Q- Queers." Multiple comments of the same thing. Comments like this got over 10 likes. One I saw had over 50. "Gays get one month of pride, straights get a lifetime in heaven." Hundreds of likes of hateful people who agree.
So what if we don't go to heaven? I'd rather go to wherever floating castle or sinking underworld there is as long as I'm not where the homophobes are. "Keep the dislikes coming." Tens of likes. "There are only 2 genders. Stop supporting these mental illnesses." Hundreds of likes. This is not a mental illness that needs to be cured. What does need to be cured, however, is those cis people's hatred on something that has 0 effect on them. "I don't see any month celebrate me being straight. Why do these gays get one." Hundreds of likes. Because straights are not oppressed or harassed, or bullied or raped or murdered just for who they choose to love. Because straights are not ridiculed by society. Because being in a heterosexual relationship is not a damnation in society's eyes. (Continued in comments...)
