WOAH. Finally getting a minute to stop and say, "HOLY SHIT, GIRLS. We did it!" This past weekend at @femmefair was like a whirlwind of female support, well wishes, macaroons, Aperol Spritz, #GRLPWR and dance moves. 🕺🏻There are far too many people to thank and IG apparently caps your shit @ 2200 characters so let me sum it up for you. Something that started as an idea blew up into a full brand and movement overnight. Women of all ages and backgrounds chipped in with their mind-blowing creative to put on the coolest shopping experience SF has ever seen. From our #wallofempathy to our BEY-inspired photobooth, every corner of that place was oozing with female empowerment and creativity. Getting to meet some of my IG family in person was amazing and listening to your stories and seeing your posts all throughout the day made me tear up. This is certainly not the last you've seen of #FemmeFair. I wish I could tell you what we have planned but you'll just have to take my word that it will be worth sticking around for. ONE TIME shoutout to my husband and partner for FKING LIFE, @the_producerr for taking care of my sales and greeting everyone that stopped by my booth while I ran around like a (also thanks for keeping our #blogbae@jeffreyboyce sane through all of this)! @staceyannloves + @closet_luxe, I can't believe all of those late ass nights paid off. We had so much work to do and we have so much work ahead of us. Forreal tho, I need to get my sleep patterns back so you're dead to me after 9pm this week. And to all the ladies in the place with style and grace, you totally made my year. Let's keep going, building up and supporting one another, this isn't over! Seriously, good lord with this photobooth design: @clairexue and photography by my 4everFave: @nantuck3t. Ok. Until next time! **
What is resistance? How do we fight against what we know is not politics as usual? Can we make a difference with our actions? We say yes. We are a collective of artists shocked by the current political climate. We have channeled our reactions into art. Each artist has interpreted these times into images that are available as postcards. This limited edition set of 20 cards, printed through Artifact Uprising, is available for $30 shipping and handling included. All profits are donated to non-profit causes. Set I is dedicated to Planned Parenthood. www.postcardsfromtheresistance.org

About to catch you up on a whole week of lies, then we'll tell you what we've been up to over the weekend.
Rather than going for individual lies, on day 14 & 15 we simply highlighted the many, many lies doctors are forced to tell patients in many American states.
Many states have a waiting period for women following her statement of intent to abort. Women are encouraged to use this time to reflect and be certain they want to terminate their pregnancy. These waiting periods can be up to 72 hours and women are given literature purported to help them give 'informed consent' if after the waiting period they still choose to end their pregnancy. Many of these publications are titled 'A woman's right to know'.
Unfortunately, only 42% of the 'facts' in these booklets/websites were found to be accurate by a team of embryological and fetal anatomy experts when they reviewed these in 2013.
And that's in the states where it's legal and BEFORE Trump. Eeep indeed.
