There has been so many posts and campaigns on body confidence lately. I am absolutely loving it since it is something I have championed for a long time. It still infuriates me that women are one another's biggest enemy when we should be one another's champion, but regardless, here I am in my flamingo retro swimsuit getting it all out au natural..dimply thighs n'all. A client who I styled recently asked me if I love my body because I appear to be so confident. I told her I do because it's me, it has achieved a lot and there is not much else I can do about it so I have learnt to accept my flaws and appreciate what I have. With my styling expertise, I know how to dress my shape and make the most of what I have – and even camouflage the bits I don't like so much, but overall I am when I am. I should write a song about that. Another friend told me recently that she was called 'brave' for wearing a bikini and took it as an insult. I mean, why was she considered brave? She's just a woman in a bikini – not brave, just wanting a tan and splash about in the sea with her kid. It was another woman who called her brave. Ladies – stop bitching, start supporting and start liking yourself. Nag over #loveyourself#flamingolove#selfcare#realwomen #warriorwoman
Missing the sunsets in Ibiza but we've been treated to some pearlers here in the U.K. recently haven't we. Since it rained today for a bit, are you happy now you miserable lot? I'm still reflecting - bet you're all thinking, 'jeez woman, shut up and get on with it, just do it'. I promise you I am doing it though but when you're up for making some serious life improvements, this shizz takes time - and not all of it's up to me either. Anyways, part of my thinking is to have a regular digi-tox; putting my frikkin phone down. Do any of you guys break away from social media regularly? 74% of @graziauk readers think they'd be happier if they regularly took a break from technology. Thoughts? Will you miss me?? #brits#rainyengland#digitox#socialmediabreak
This is about right- my two children pulling me this way and that! We had a lovely weekend upon our return from hollibobs; doing our best to recreate the elements we experienced and loved the most: togetherness, taking our time, fun, freedom, adventure and the sunshine was taken care of too. It's all back to 'normal' now though and I'm feeling like I need a revamp. Does anyone else ever subconsciously reevaluate their life when they go on a break? I think it happens when you sit back and stop for a bit. Recent events of friends have left me feeling questionable about many things including social media and tone of voice; like, who are we really? So- what shall I do now? So much thinking and planning to do #help#revamp#newplans#reevaluate#herewegoagain
...The reasons Frankie loves his Dad.
Happy fathers day to all the wonderful dads and grandads out there. Sometimes you guys don't get enough credit (sometimes we don't either but y'know what I'm sayin ). I'd add to this that he puts himself last to always ensure his family are happy and provided for, it's what he lives for. That and the silly faces definitely. Thank you @bethsbetterhalf - for everything you do xxx
So this is what family holidays look like for us now 🤡 we're having a lovely time but two kids aged 4 and 15m makes for very little r&r! We've been here a week and feel like we've only just found a new routine. The first few days was spent battling with sleep patterns, new surroundings, bags for her, for him, the beach, the pool, the evening (have we got everything?), and water gun etiquette As usual, @bethsbetterhalf and I have compromised and give each other alone time every day to chill/ be/ nod off on the sun lounger. The balance really helps and so do the kids club! Man- we owe much to whoever invented those; everyone is a winner. On the plus side, the kids are loving it, it's so good to see them making friends, learning, growing, adapting so quickly and bopping around the stage to Ibiza beats. Neal and I are getting quality time with them and each other and my skin is turning a nice shade of cookie dough. Look at my hubby, his nickname is Des O Conner #holiday#familyadventure#adventureisoutthere#sunsoutlunnsout

'Tis true this. You know when you're that ready for a break that even the little things wind you up and you find yourself reacting to stuff in a totally negative, over-dramatic way? It's not just me is it? I mean, I'd prefer you to n'all but I don't usually lose my shit if you don't use a coaster under your wine (sorry @bethsbetterhalf ). I often wonder why it's so hard to do nothing, 'cos sometimes that's exactly what we all need to do. Today is a busy day of packing, work deadlines, last minute shopping and cleaning (does anyone else feel the need to clean the house top to bottom before they go away)?? I'm ending it with family and fizz though and tomorrow... #holibobs#vacaymode#sunsoutlunnsout#ibiza#ibizatown
Orange and black are such a heavenly combination. Is orange the new black? Sorry, I couldn't help it. This @ukglamorous jumpsuit is on my wish list for summer. Wear with thong sandals and a jean jacket by day and black heels, as shown at night. #beglamorous#summerfashion

Ah four year olds. They come out with some pearlers don't they? This is Frankie's take on my boobs. Um, thanks son. At least he didn't say they looked like the ears of a Basset Hound, jalapeño peppers or empty sacks; all my personal views
Seriously though, the only reason I can laugh at myself is because I love myself. Not in an egotistical dick head kinda way, but in a 'give yourself a break love, you're awesome' kinda way. It takes work but it's worth it. We're worth it right? L'Oréal totally stole that line from me. #yourebeautiful#youreworthit#loveyourselffirst#frankiem#toddlersofinstagram#toddlerlife#thingstoddlerssay
In my natural habitat here in a beach dress with no bra, bare feet and the sea and sun all around me. My tits may be around my waist now but I'm sooooo comfortable. I can't wait to go on holiday this week. I don't think I've ever been so ready.

I'm going on holiday next week to Ibiza so I'm currently pulling together a capsule wardrobe. I love the colour of these cork heels by @newlookfashion - they're more wearable for longer thanks to the block heel and platform sole which distributes your weight more evenly. Besides, after a few margaritas they'll feel like slippers. #capsulewardrobe#capturingcolour#blsummerstyle#stylist
Another dubious phrase until you read into it! ...this is what Frankie asked his dad after climbing on to his shoulders and then his head and demanding he sway back and forth like a human pendulum, while Frankie held onto his ears. You know when kids demand things with such confidence and a little dash of psycho that you actually feel a bit scared? You end up doing it even though it's ridiculous and you're asking yourself, 'what the fu*k am I doing? How is this happening?' Yeah that. #toddlerlife#toddlersofinstagram#fouryearold#motherhoodthroughinstagram#fatherhoodrocks#wtfisthis

We're supposed to have sunshine all week this week (I say 'supposed' 'cos you can never guarantee it in Blighty can you). So 'this week, I present a new style challenge to you. You all loved the #blcolourchallenge so now let's try wearing one summery item a day, up to the weekend. It might be flip flops, a hat, a summer dress, shorts, shades, even an ice cream! - anything you wouldn't wear or carry in colder times that challenges you a bit. The only rule is that it makes you feel summery. Tag me and use #blsummerstyle and enjoy #legsout#flipflops#icecream#summerfashion#summeriscoming

The most questionable thing I've said to my kids this weekend (so far). It could so easily be misconstrued
So I need these sunny trousers in my life. Yellow is my favourite colour and there is tons of it about right now. I'd team these cropped trews @marksandspencer with botanical green as I love a bit of bold colour contrasting. Bet you never guessed Soon you'll get direct links to all my style bits 'n' pieces on my new shop page on my blog- whoop. Have you seen my poem by the way? Watch my #instasham ode on my channel, link is where it always is 🏼

Be you, do you, for you.
I've not doodled or coloured for decades but loved doing this. The phrase is from new @Netflix drama #girlboss which I loved. I read the book and this did not disappoint. I've always done me but this whole #fishfingersandgin thing has created a divide and sorry, but I'm over it already. I'm just going to concentrate on what I love and hope that you love it too. Cliche as I may be, I love unicorns, glitter and quotes. I love a tidy house and positivity and hugs. I love posing like a dick and inspiring you all, lifting you up and telling it like it is. I don't know any other way but me and if I'm not your cup of tea, that's cool. I just wanted to recap on who I am to you guys, 'cos sometimes we forget why we follow don't we? It's not about numbers for me, it's about the messages I get saying I've made your day. It's about sharing my life and building a community, it's about pictures that make you and I happy, it's about us. I'm over the bitchiness, it just ain't my thing. Check out my little poem on all this shizz on my channel, inspired my the utterly talented @natashabailie#yougetme#iloveacliche#thebigcheese#loveyourselffirst#womensupportingwomen#unicorns#glitter#coffeelover#instamum
We so easily concentrate on our 'bad bits' and criticise ourselves but what we should do is focus on the 'not so bad bits' and pat ourselves on the backs for everything our beautiful bodies have done. For me, I have conceived, grown, pushed out and fed two kids. My body cycles, stretches, works, hugs, nurtures and loves- go me. So fu*k my floppy boobs that disappear under my armpits when I remove my bra. S*d my belly button that resembles an old ladies ear hole. I am awesome...and so are you. #girlgang#womensupportingwomen#loveyourselffirst#sisterfromanothermister#smokinhot
So Frankie said he couldn't 'capture' his dinosaurs this morning because he 'doesn't have enough energy'. He obviously does (!) but he said that because he has heard me say it, perhaps too often lately. It upset me massively. Our kids are mirrors of us and I don't want him seeing me or himself in this way. I know I should give myself a break as I get stuck in, mix it up, go on adventures and keep fit BUT...but. It sucked a bit. Frankie and I went on a long walk at the weekend and noticed all the bright flowers, the glittering sea...and the dinosaur teeth and snakes, obvs. I hope he breathes in those moments with me more than he does me curling up on the chair and hugging my flat white #blooms#beachlife#toddlerlife#coffeelover#coffeesnob
My girl and I high-fiving over the weekend before we went to a street festival. It may look dreamy here but the day unfolded like this: go to street festival, Frankie hasn't had enough sleep (don't ask) so he cries because there are "big kids" on the bouncy castle and he wants a bag of marshmallows for breakfast but I refuse. Sassie is only happy if she is running around everywhere (cue non stop chasing), and the possibility of @bethsbetterhalf and I finishing a drink is slim to none. We waste a lot of money on half drunk prosecco and beer. We aim to bribe the kids with pizza but end up tag-teaming in chasing the kids / calming them down/ acting like clowns to avoid outbursts while the other wolfs down the kids soggy leftovers. Also this rainbow maxi skirt is a beaut but it is slightly too long to be chasing kids around in, so by the end of the day it had mud marks and kids sticky finger prints across it. Flippin 'eck. #realitiesofparenthood#parentlife#toddlerlife#ownyourstyle#rainbowdress#maxiskirt

Sassie is going through "sleep regression" although I'm wondering if that is just a bull sh*t phrase to excuse kids just being kids. Teething, separation anxiety, a dairy intolerance, growth spurt. You name it, we've supposedly experienced it all in the last few months. Some nights there are no issues at all, some nights I want to punch a hole in the wall. Sometimes I just think, well, c'est la vie. Above it all though, I laugh through it, Neal (@bethsbetterhalf ) and I work as a team and there is wine. #goodjobshescute#realitiesofparenthood#sleepyhead#nuckingfackered
Gosh I miss this place - California. When Neal and I went to LA pre-kids, we fell in love. Not with each other, that was way before, but with the place. We stayed in Venice, a short walk from Abbot Kinney and we had one of those moments as we turned the corner to walk down that wonderful street. You know where you get shivers and time passes in slow motion and you feel like you've been there before? @abbotkinneyblvd was for us, home. The street art, the independents, the colours, the beach life, the margaritas, the coffee, the dogs in cafes, the vintage stores, the smiles, the style, the vibe, the individuality, the people. Brighton, UK where we are now also offers all of this- just without the consistent sunshine! We're so happy here, I love the vibrancy, originality and creativity, plus the fact that you can get any type of food or drink you wish. It's never too advanced or modern or poncy- the food scene here is amazing and so forward-thinking. Earlier this week, I visited @englishsofbrighton who held a chef off to find the best emerging chef. One of my favourites @thesaltroombrighton won. Well deserved. Anyways, my plan now is to return to Cali with the kids and also check out San Fran which I'm told I would love. Why not eh? #dontgiveupyourdaydream#californiaadventure#abbotkinney#wishlist#calaforniadreaming#adventureisoutthere#havetoddlerswilltravel
Anyone else feeling like, 'what the heck do I wear in this unpredictable weather?' It is doing my nut in. But there's a lot to be said for the trusty jeans and top combo that can be mixed up a bit. There's loads of ideas on my blog for @churchillsquare ( http://blog.churchillsquare.com ).
