These hands are not hands that are given,
But give so freely
They flow with love and flow with passion
Stand tall rise, and repeat
that behead us but our stand can not be diminished
For they are the light that in darkness shine
in depths of solitude find oneness with the divine
these hands are not symbols but our revolutionary stances
Be the heads upon lances, they're tongues will still testify their greatness,
And yet after everything they tried from severing two arms from Abbas still they could not get,
Their Hands to pledge against it.
See we talk about bravery but see valor for yourself,
The hands that defend, that hands that felt,
Split open necks of children slaughtered,
Of final embraces with soon to be orphaned daughters,
These hands that have buried many times over,
That have clung to supplications and deprived of water,
But yet they will never give in to tyranny or oppression,
For oppress them as you wish but they still will rise,
Above flags and domes, and in our mothers eyes,
In the chants of lovers, and in the heartbroken cries.
'His hand, his hand he never gave!'
They slaughtered his head but his hand remains. .
'A man like me can never pledge allegiance to a man like him (Yazid)' Imam Hussain (a.s.) The Panja is a symbol of resistance, of love and of courage that in the face of tyranny and brutal evil - they can force you to your death but your consent they can never force from you. #karbala#imamhussain#YAHUSSAIN#Muharram1439
